"I don’t know if you’ve heard it, but we’ve had a heat wave here in Norway for the last few weeks. Crazy hot and sunny skies every day. I’ve been at Stryn and Fonna snowboarding for two amazing weeks.
Stryn and Folven Camping was the first stop on my summer roadtrip, this camping site is know for it’s crazy parties over the midsummer weekend. We woke up to bluebird and hurried up to the slopes. The park was pretty good this year, they had two ok sized jumps, some boxes and a few rails. I had some really fun days!
The midsummer weekend is legendary at Folven, so many people from all over Norway come there just to party. Fun times. Saturday was another sunny day, and it was time for the annual Smartfish Iranian Open in the park, I was satisfied with my riding that day, I won, and I’m now an Iranian snowboard champion… hahaha… the next day they brought snow down from the mountain and held a rail jam at the campground, it was fun, but I didn’t ride any good.
It’s always sad to leave Stryn, and I can’t wait to go back next year. However we had to go on, Folgefonna was the next stop. After an eight hour roadtrip on the crazy roads on the west cost we were finally there. I met up with the Norwegian Von Zipper team, they had planned a small photoshoot there. The good weather just kept on coming, and I had another amazing week of snowboarding, swimming, fishing, barbequing and partying.
I’m back in Oslo for a bit now, but I’m leaving again the 4th. Bataleon’s got a camp in France, I’ll send you a new update when I get back from there.."

Here is a report from a dedicated crew of swiss bataleon riders that drove from switzerland to Folgefonna Glacier in Norway to see for themselves the place of legends, birth ground of Bataleon Snowboards
“Since one year we were planning this trip to Norway, back to the roots of Bataleon. We are some Locals and Park shapers y of the Centralpark in Thyon, Switserland and Swiss team rider Xavier Mart. We were really looking forward to this road trip
Unfortunately Xavier broke his arm just two days before our departure and he couldn’t join us. From Romandie we started to drive in our camping car all the way up to Oslo. After one week straying around Hemsedal and Stryn in full rain we finally found Folgefonna, a sweet spot, which is famous for his backcountry. And we were re-compensated more then perfectly
We spent one week there, building kickers every day. We also met Tyler Chorlton, who was there filming with the Pirates Production. After many good sessions we drove back with a huge smile, which made the 34 hour trip back to Switzerland a piece of a cake…”

Awesome job on TBT. I have an 08 Goliath and I will never look back, I make all my friends try it out. the 161W is perfect for me, Pow, park and fast fast piste. Bataleon are awesome!!

I snowboard every single day during the winter and have ridin a lot of boards. Now every board has there different techs. but by far the best I have riden is Bataleon (That gay Burton Hero that stole TBT and Bananna Tech is a poser) I have a 157W Goliath, 155 Airobic, and a 151 Evil Twin and each has taken a beating and never let me down. Just make the easy choice and choose Bataleon. Cause when it comes down to it do you wanna be one man or part of a Bataleon!

i just came back from 5 days of riding my new fun.kink 53 in hintertux... its so epic. dont wanna ride any other board at the moment. it butters soo smoth, i havent caught an edge once. its really cool for everything. besides buttering it also worked great on bigger kickers, and stood stable at high speed... epic. tbt ftw.

I got my Evil Twin 151 and rode it in Snowworld Landgraaf, Netherlands. I have never rode fake before, but now I could do that immediately!! I love you guys!! Yeaah for it!!

U guys brought fun back to snowboarding. First time i feel really really sad that the season ends. Evil Twin in park, the Riot in Pow. Heaven. I let my friends try my TBT's, and they're all want to buy a Bataleon now. Yeah so, riding my riot after 150 days or more on hill for 8 hours a day (working as park crew and days off) and never waxed once, never tuned once, just rode. still straight-lining faster than my friends in shitty spring snow, even after jibbing rails, boxes, trees and rocks. i own the jam as well, but she only comes out when the snow does. make sure you make more boards for next year guys, because my girlfriend, friends and myself need more 'B' in our lives next winter, and I don't mean that other 'B' company...

Cant praise tbt enough!!! especially since a number of companies have announced dropping reverse camber next year as it doesnt work. TBT = all the pop u ever wanted with extra forgivness! snowboarding has never been so much fun! cant even start to list stuff i can do now that i couldnt b4 thank you bataleon and tbt!!!
