“Owned 2012 154 ET, 2014 154Airobic, And now 2018 GW 154. I like bombing hills and hitting kickers. I like spin tricks and backflips, the board is equal or greater than ET there. Airobic was torsionally flexy so it was not as fun at carving, but I liked the butters and ground spin tricks with that one. GW torsionally is stiffer than the effortless Airobic so it takes effort to do butters, but worth the sacrifice because high speed carving is a breeze. I’ve rode a few pretty well known “all mountain” twin boards and its a knife carving in comparison. My favorite is the stablility and flex it has. TBT literally made me a more aggressive rider. I can’t think of why I’d ever leave to ride something else. My younger brother rides TBT after he tried my ET, and there’s no reason to leave. GW is my favorite, in my brain I imagine what my ideal board should feel like.. and this is it....just needs more stickers :p”

“What a fun board! I loved it from the first turn! Conditions were pretty shitty but this thing just rips. Its nor a ice specialist for sure but its doable. (i really hope you guys come up with some traction tech in the near future then your boards would be perfect). I rode a lot of short fat boards so far and mostly they feel sluggish and slow edge to edge. Not this one. Also the pricepoint is really great! That said i´d immediately pay a few more bucks for a E.S. Version with sintered base a a slightly stiffer flex. All in all (after the Surfer) one of the best boards i ever rode!”

Lil Dickey

“I’ve had 7 days on the 18/19 magic carpet I drooled over this fall. The responsiveness of this board blew me away. Put it on edge and let the side cut paint a picture for you. Fast squiggle turns, nasty carves, catch free forgiveness for those oh sh** moments, and it’s flexy enough for whatever butter fun or jibs you’re throwing out. Glad I changed to Bataleon. Go go magic car port.”

Hunter Charest

“this board is a actual fucking unit! just by being near people riding this board makes them orgasm instantaneously. I swear to god the only way to heaven is a fat fucking XXL jump on this board to pearly gates. xxx”

Izza

“Love this board!
Picked it up near the end of the Australian season to replace my Yes Basic.
Only regret with the Evil Twin, not getting it sooner! Believe the hype, 3BT works. Has made a huge difference to my riding already. Shot Bataleon!”

Javier

“Japan edition”

Danny

“This is my 3rd board and my 3rd season. And I have done so much better. It is so forgiving and holds a egde so well. I love this board will definitely hang onto her for next year”

“bataleon surfer...rob a bank if you must.

This shape is dope. The simple black and white colorway is understated but sleek. I won’t bore you with stories about the 3BT tech but I will share this little story...I already told you the board is dope. How dope? This may or may not have happened and signed confidentiality agreements prevent me from doing interviews but I was at my local Starbucks in the morning. Yes, of course I was carrying my new Surfer under my arm. Who was there? Jake Burton and Red Gerard! Both drinking Frappacinno’s (Jake=Matcha Green Tea; which is my choice too. Red=Vanilla Bean Creme with a Mountain Dew floater! The kid sure knows how to push product. Respect.)

Anyway, they see me and my Bataleon Surfer. I nod at them like “Hey bros. You’re killin’ it at the Olympics and at Starucks drink orders.” They both act like they don’t know who I am. I’m used to that so it doesn’t upset me. What did upset me is what happened next!

Jake sneaks up behind me before I can order my Sous Vide Egg Bites and pushes me down, grabs my new board, throws it to Red. Red walks right outside to the slight hill in front of the Starbucks and he throws both Frappacino’s on the grass creating the thinnest layer of delicious snow ever made. Red straps in to The Surfer and on just this short 10 meter run he has created and managed not too drink, he repeatedly does one trick after another. Hiking back up time and again. He damn near wore the board out. But it withstood the onslaught of gnarliness. All this time, Jake is still holding me down. Dude is freakishly strong.

When it was over, Red kept my board. Jake looked at me when he walked out and just said, “Wait till you see OUR board next year, punk.” I don’t know if that means they are gonna try to make a Surfer board of their own. But all I know is the Bataleon Surfer is so sick that Red took mine. I’m sad about it. Get your own, just be careful when you go to Starbuck’s with it. I went home listening to Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood and then watched The Eternal Beauty of Snowboarding for the 13th time.”

“Fun fun fun...everywhere...floats like nothing i tried before. This baby really changes your ride. On deep Snow on hard pack switch riding is now so much fun. 3bt is really a game changer!!! Congrats bataleon

“This board has relatively few reviews written about it, probably due to its rarity and its somewhat unique position in the Bataleon lineup. Let me just say up front, this board was a total revelation for me. I LOVE THIS BOARD.

The Japan Edition is so, so light to carry yet stiff and responsive; it has TBT's benefits but the lower uplift and Twin shape keeps it mellow and closer to a 'regular' board in feel. It builds confidence just by standing on it, but doesn't overpower you. It carves like a dream, butters and presses effortlessly, and has such low swing weight it can be thrown around obstacles and moguls like it's made of air. It's a thing of beauty both to look at and to ride, and half the instructors on the slopes stopped to admire it :)

I was looking for a Bataleon after demoing an old Whatever and immediately feeling the benefits of TBT; I really like camber boards, but I don't like catching edge, I really like stiffer boards, but I don't like having to give 100% all day long. The Whatever was a nice, easy ride, so I resolved to try a few more boards out.

I tried the latest Whatever, Evil Twin and Goliath and found that besides the Evil Twin which I inexplicably didn't seem to get along with, the new Sidekicks were an amazing addition to the Bataleon recipe. The Whatever turned out to be slightly too soft for me, the Goliath was better but its shape was more specialised towards hard-charging, high-speed all-mountain.

Enter the Japan Edition, which although Bataleon don't advertise this very well, is the Whatever's shape with the board specs of the much more aggressive and high-tech Boss. Combined, you get something like a perfect hybrid of the Whatever and the Goliath, a mid-stiff board with park-like stability underfoot. With the possible exception of ultra-soft powder, I doubt there's anything this board cannot do.

If you want a quiver-killer that will actually excel at both park and piste and give powder a decent shot, this is the board.

Bataleon, if you are listening, PLEASE remake this board (especially with the lightweight core) for the 2019-2020 lineup! Don't change it (barring tech updates), just make it again. I cannot bear the idea that such a magnificent combination is 'consumable' and irreplaceable. You have utterly nailed it with this design, if you build it, they will ride!”

JT

“I was bummed when White Gold / Kevin and Bataleon oarted ways as a previous happy owner of the White Gold Flyer... But the flame is ALIVE and well with the Flight E.S. Pretty much the Flyer with a few year's of new tech. Rad as always!”

Rou Chater

“I was torn between the Whatever and the Goliath for my first season in a long time and in the end, chose the Goliath as I figured I wanted to be going home a better rider. After 4 months this board is still rocking and hasn't skipped a beat once. It's been through the park, on the pistes, up the mountains and down the steeps in the backcountry. From groomers to fresh pow it's been immense. TBT is unreal, so forgiving and fun to ride, the board has good speed and is stable and yet fun to throw around. A little stiff for park and jib fun, but that's not my vibe anyway. If you want an epic stick for freeride adventures all over the mountain that can carve up pistes better than a sushi chef slices fresh tuna this is it...

Props to Bataleon, best boards ever, once you've gone Bat you won't go back...”

Pete Evans

“Upgraded my 2013 Evil Twin this year on the back of a couple of reviews that gave me a good feeling about this board. In my 13 years of 1 week a year middle aged snowboarding, this has to be the most fun I've had on any snowboard ever. It did everything I wanted and more. It ate up the pistes of the 3 valleys with ease. Took it off the side into the powder at every opportunity and for the first time with any board it took on the flats and small uphills that normally floor me and just kept on going, it even took me through a couple of mogul fields. Super stable, super fast when I wanted it and so easy to control. This board made me look way better than I am. Thanks Bataleon.”

John Hubert

“Best board I have ever rode in my life. Period.”

Yaks

“Been riding about a week per year for the past 6 or 7 years. I'm ok, I can get down whatever slope is put in front of me and I can do the very basics in the beginner/intermediate areas of the park without landing on my ass.

Bought a disaster this season, third board I've owned. Riden traditional camber, flat and reverse camber boards in the past. First time riding TBT. First jib board.

TBT
This tech is ridiculous. I'll never go back. Totally catch-free ride, not great on ice but you won't notice as long as you're willing to bomb it down. Makes riding flat a lot less scary too.

The Disaster
The board is awesome fun but definitely stick to the park. They don't lie, it does exactly what it says on the tin, it's too soft for the piste. After 2-3 days riding with my friends on the groomers I had to switch to skis for a day (don't judge me) just to give my legs a rest. If you're planning on doing both then it might be worth bringing another all mountain board along in your bag.

Next board I get will probably be a slightly stiffer version of the same thing. LOVE IT.”

“I'm 77kg and 173cm (in my snowboarding boots), have been snowboarding for about 22 years and ridden a wide range of boards from a 163 Burton Johan to a 153 Salomon Villian. I've always fancied riding a Bataleon and this year bought a 154 Evil Twin. Just back from an amazing week in Engelberg and with hand on heart this is the best board I've ever owned. Jumped on it day one and it rocked, no need to get used to the TBT technology it performed like magic from the off!! I'm a total fan, we had amazing powder and with the bindings set up totally symmetrical (too lazy to shift them back) for a 154 the Twin floats like a butterfly. An awesome board 10 out of 10!!!”

ej

“I'm 192.5cm and 93Kg and WOOOOO!!!! this board is awesome and really weird. I rode a Burton Custom 165W for 5 years. This new board is fun, scary and squirrelly. It took 3 runs to get used to the new way I need to ride. It's going take a bit longer to really learn how to ride this board. The 3BT technology forces you to ride a bit different but frees you up from that fear of catching an edge. I didn't have time to get it waxed but was assured by Bataleon and other research that it probably didn't need it and that was correct. I highly recommend this board for heavy guys or guys with big feet. The waist on the 164 is 268 which is wider than my Custom. You will be comfortable. At low speeds it tends to pull to one side for short distances like 5 to 10 meters any longer and it may put you in a spin. I don't do parks so I can't speak to how well it will do there but on piste it's good and the wee bit O' powder I hit was like floating on air. I shall end this season on high note.

Koen Wastyn

“I bought the Bataleon Whatever 2016 and it's absolutely the best board I have tried. It really does everything ! If you haven't tried 3bt do it now, I progressed so much as a rider once I tried 3bt boards.
Whatever you want to do on a snowboard, the Bataleon whatever will be the best choice out there”

“I learned how to snowboard last winter on a visit to Colorado, bought a bunch of gear off of craigslist and thought all was good. I ended up moving to Colorado this winter and was excited to keep learning. My board had other plans. I bought a gently used rocker board with magne-traction at the advice of many around me. After weeks of slamming myself into the ground, I decided snowboarding wasn't for me.

That is, until I made a horrible financial decision and purchased the SHE-W. BEST IDEA EVER. Snowboarding is fun as hell, I'm cruising down blacks with confidence and learned how to butter 360 the third time I rode it. Magne traction made me terrified of my edges, down right petrified of cat tracks and only willing to ride on powder days. One minute I thought I had it, the next I caught an edge and slammed. No more! As a beginner, I was told I wouldn't know the difference between boards and even went into my local shop to discuss the problems I was having with my previous board to which the guy responded... "you just need to practice." Thanks, bro- I knew that.

Point is, the SHE-W has me cruising with confidence all while laughing and smiling down the mountain. Cruises well in powder and makes the hard pack days way more fun. Not to mention the board makes me look like a total badass! I'm in love!!! Thanks so much Bataleon!!!!”

Rob

“It's like riding a train !! This board c(a)(u)rves like it's on rails. It's faaast. I'm not the best boarder and i am surely not taking this board to the max... but it takes me to my max... and beyond...”

M. Z.

“That‘s without doubt the best board I‘ve ever ridden. I‘d buy more boards from their line if I had more moolah on the side. Bataleon rocks.”

Minh

“Hi...tried lots of different brands and type of board but the global warmer always stays in the car :) really love this stick. Complains? Yes. The topsheet quality is really poor, it's falling of quite easy and I am not even riding the park.”

Jimbo

“I used to ride Bataleon boards and then went down the rocker, cam rock ideas of other brands for a few seasons.

Ultimately I've returned to 3BT after a spell on a Jones board with the its new spoon shaping. It reminded me of the all the good things TBT offered me 'back in the day', but I wanted to go back to something more fun and forgiving to improve buttering, switch and generally dicking around on the snow.

The Goliath delivers in spades. It's fast enough to keep pace with who I need to and offers so much fun by the bucketload when things get relaxed after the beer.

The new sidekicks are insanely good for edge hold compared to my previous Bataleon boards. And this is without the hang-ups I've had with other brand's magnatraction and underbite tech. Don't overthink it ... it works and is a large leap forward for 3BT boards.

The board doesn't feel washy in the slightest, even on the flat, which is where I was a little nervous after older Bataleon boards. There's definitely been progressive improvement in the last few years and you can feel it where it matters- under your feet. It's also super loose when you want it to be - responding very well to variable edge pressure and rider input.

Predictable in a good way, but never boring.

I would hands down say it's the easiest board I've ridden switch, 3BT just can't be beaten for letting you get away with shit other decks would destroy you on.

It's nice off kickers too - weirdly stable landing and super inspiring for confidence.

Thanks Bataleon - you've truly outclassed everyone again with this board. I'm back home for good this time.”

Nicole

“This board is my soulmate. That other brand was holding me back. Since I got this board, I’ve been progressing super quickly and have even beat my dude friends to nailing the more technical ground tricks. Best purchase I’ve made in years!”

Juan Pablo Nobez

“One word ‘amazing’ does everything you’ll ever want a board to do. Never without it!”

“Best board I ever had, light, playful, beautiful”

Prim

“Absolutly epic in the deep stuff!! Floaty and dreamy and so easily to turn on.. it feels super stable and literally don’t need to think about what my legs are doing. But on the groomed slopes it gets a little chattery when going faster and is slightly harder work to ride. (I usually ride hybrid camber) so it’s mainly personal preference in profiles whenyou’re on the slopes. I defiantly agree with one of the girls that this is defiantly aimed more experienced riders. But saying that it’s a welcome addition to my quiver and shall be remaining for when it pukes on the hill!”

Marcis

“Great board, great value, easy to ride in every terrain! SATISFIED!!!”

Quirin Pfaff

“just wanted to let you know that i finally bought „the Surfer“ and this thing fucking rips! I´m so glad i bought it! Worth every penny!
Its really the funnest board i´ve been on in a long time… on the first day i only rode it in pow where obviously it was fucking great but yesterday when i rode it all day starting with ice groomers of death in the morning to slush in the afternoon the board outperformed everything else i had with me. I think this is the best carving board in my entire quiver.

I dont know what you did to the 3BT or sidecut or whatever but dont change a f**** thing on that board because its magic!
this board really won me over for 3BT again. After the cameltoe x stewart (2nd generation) i thought 3BT is only good in pow.
but the surfer totally changed my mind and yesterday i also bought the lobster sea creature cause i needed a good twin board. i hope i can ride it tomorrow and its as good and fun as the surfer.”

Alejandro escamilla

“Best board I ever had
I try other boards here and there , Yet this one tops it all always, It changed my riding style . Gives you that extra confidence to become happily irresponsible when trying new tricks . I love it. You ll love It too”

Jesse

“Very satisfied with the Goliath 159, coming from a Burton Clash 160. Last year (may 2016) I tested the Bataleon Evil Twin for an afternoon and was really impressed how playful and reliable it was.

My weight: 70kg.
My height: 180cm.

Right now I've been on the Goliath for about 24 hours in total.
It took me about a day to really get comfortable with it.

I guess I'm kind of a versatile rider so I like to break it down in 3 subjects:

1. Floating on top of powder is really easy, the board listens very well when initiating turns.

2. Very reliable at higher speed on icy groomers; enough grip and confidence.

3. Switching stances, buttering, flatlanding is really fun on this board. It is kind of forgiving, light and flexible enough.”

Kaylee

“I road 6 different boards in a season trying to test them out from newb boards to expert and there's nothing that would beat this guy. I'm in love with bataleon. It was my first season and I road the ice and rocks of New Zealand. Can't wait to shred on this thing asap in America. It's going to hard for me to ever find a better board.”

Dan

“So psyched on this board! A few years ago I used to get some boards from a local Bataleon rep and now that I’m older and don’t get hooked up anymore I still ride Bataleon and the Wallie was an awesome addition to the relationship, like finding out your girl is into S&M. Since I‘ve entered the business world and packed on a couple pounds, the Wallie is perfect, it’s like a beefed up Disaster....like myself. I get the same feeling as riding my previous favorite in the line(the disaster) with just the right amount of added stiffness to support the new load. That also gives me the feeling of being able to lock into presses a bit more easily for some reason. Couldn’t be more psyched on the new addition to the line and can’t wait for next years Wallie to come out! Thanks for keeping me psyched on snowboarding!!!”

Demerio

“Honestly never thought I could find a snowboard that matched how I imagined a snowboard should perform. This thing is extremely fun. Tbt is where it’s at for me. All the positives are true and negative reviews are baloney. You can absolutely rail carves on this beast or float around catch free on a wave or clouds. Have fun. Ok never go back to a flat board.”

Ian

“Perfect all mountain board... have other boards but always end up riding my bataleon... nice and playful but holds a nice edge for charging around.”

Morgan

“I am 6'2 225, and I finally found the snowboard I have been searching for my whole life. I cannot explain how amazing this board is. Handles so incredibly well, finally feel like I can fly down the mountain without the worry of catching an edge. Hands down best board ever for any large snowboarder. It is also super light which allows for so much control and it feels like you are just surfing through powder.

clayton landals

“ive had my omni for4 or 5 years now. i have other boards. and tried lots of diffrent setups but i keep comeing back to the omni. this thing is a crusher. the best, funnest board ive ever rode. super agile in the dèep and resposive and playful on the runs. I cant wait to get a new one and see how the new 3bt feels. betaleon = best boards evet!!!!”

Alec

“I have been riding the bataleon global warmer for 3 years now and it is the best park board I've ever owned. I usually go through a board or two a season due to agressive park riding but this thing is BOMB PROOF. I even convinced a buddy of mine to buy one and he loves it just as much as I do.
3bt is a genius invention that is revolutionizing snowboarding year after year. You can't go wrong with this board take it to the street or send it off booters this thing is the swiss army knife of park boards. The GW is my favorite park board in my quiver. Ive been riding bataleons for years and I will be for years to come! Stop looking for a park board and BUY THIS BOARD. Thanks bataleon for being how a snowboard company should be.”

Transworld Snowboarding

“When real life gets you down, your best option is to get buried in pow, and this is the type of board you can do that with. The Surfer’s massive swallowtail and big, spooned-out nose with lifted contact points provide the perfect tool to transport you to a place where you can float through anything and away from reality.”

Andrew Duthie 'Whitelines'

“You’ll enjoy the shape in thick slush, but ideally the Bataleon Surfer is for the snorkel days”

Rob Schroter

“What can I say.. it carves tike a train, does powder effortless and still makes you smile while riding switch....”

Rob Schroter

“As an older (54) ,less experienced snownboarder (4 th season), I took it on , to learn umongst other stuff ,to do 180's ,carving, take first steps onto buttering and follow the rest of the guys on and off the piste. This board let me do it and forgave me my years (in experience). It still takes me a few levels up everytime i try new ( foolish ;-) ) stuff. I was a Bataleon fan from the first time I had one, but I never expected a board that is fun all the way.”

Chris, Sydney Aus

“Jumped on a Bataleon Whatever yesterday for the first time, what a difference. So happy i have this. Smiling all the way home and this morning. One board quiver. Done.”

Kellan

“Just picked up a 2016 Whatever. Sooooo stoked to ride it. I already own a Goliath for the mountains and a Global Warmer for my parks days. Best boards on the planet. My quiver is now full of tbt glory. It does not matter how experienced you are on the hill Bataleon boards will change you as a boarder for the better. YEAH FOR IT!”

Tim Symes

“Bought mid-way through last seasons epic conditions in the PNW. I can't stop smiling when riding this board. Got it for blower days but this thing rips on the hard pack too. Just wish I'd had it since November.”

Benno

“On my 4th Evil Twin now, boards are sick and the construction is of suck a good quality that they last through a full season riding all day almost everyday. Tried a few different sizes depending on where I was based for the season but at the end of the day they can handle anything thrown at them.”

Ben

“The Goliath felt cruisey and easy going at low speed on the piste. It had plenty of power and pop when carving and was stable through out the turn. All in all a solid all mountain cruiser.”

John

“Great board lots of pop.
Very forgiving great in powder.”

Linus

“Having an asymmetrical TBT is so much fun. Heel to toe is super smooth and as always Bataleon ride straight through any slush and it carves like a dream. Straight lining this is absolutely perfect as it stays stable and on point. Never a dull moment on this board.”

Linus

“Sick board, loved it! Every turn you put force into the carve, it digs in and shoots you down the hill. One hell of a board. Loved every second on this board. Brutal and so much fun.”

Ben

“The one felt nice and planted at speed, really nimble on tight turns quick between edges with plenty of response and power throughout the turns. In the small amount of fresh snow the one floated with ease and even in the 154 never felt like the nose was going to dive below the snow.”

Dominic

“Awesome freestyle powder board that is very playful and buttery on piste and a lot of fun.
Soft flex and eases through the soft powder without having to try to hard. The board is a little soft for the first bumpy stuff, but for everything else it put a big smile on my face. :)”

Linus

“No need for another board. One of my all time favourites. Feels great under foot when turning. Light and nimble across the piste and side hits. Great pop, super stable and allround great fun. Might not be performing like a formula 1 car but who said you can't enjoy a smooth ride in your Bentley!”

Oliver

“Nice and forgiving. Fun!”

Laura

“Felt good edge to edge”

Jorin

“All Round great board.
Very forgiving, lots of pop and very playful.”

Ritchie

“Fun and a new nice sensation!”

Martin

“Very loose "skate" feel to this board which was really nice in pow+ piste.
Though it still held an edge well. I own a global warmer and this is a more mellow version on that.”

Chloe

“Very smooth, forgiving edges. Great stability & easy for turning. Plus it looks great!”

Amy

“It's all in the name! She really did feel better.
Super easy to turn. Making popping off side hits fun. Loved it!”

Joy

“What a machine! Perfect for bombing down piste, surfing pow fields and even cruisy park laps. TBT is such a confidence boost and allows you to push yourself and get stoked on new tricks.
Smashes through slush, grips hard on ice and floats through pow. What a dream”

Remy

“Really sick!
Really enjoyed it!”

Sara

“Awesome!!!”

Mitch

“Awesome board, tons of pop and a full blown charger, can and will do everything thrown at it.”

Johnny

“As with previous years the TBT technology prevents any possibility of catching an edge making carving 100% easier and styling out any off piste riding”

Danny

“Sweet as!! Top to Bottom power ride. Smiling like the cheshire cat!!
Carved around piste and off with ease.”

J. Cooper

“Awesome board. I am 6ft3 and found this board great in the park aswell as an all mountain! Definitely would be looking to purchasing one!”

Pat

“Mach 10 monster, a lot of snowboard not for the faint hearted. Carves incredibly like the name implies and it's pretty much impossible to slip out of a turn. Really smooth edge to edge due to the 3BT.”

Ben

“The Carver is exactly what the name suggests, a carving weapon. Set this board on an edge and it will hold as far as you want to push it. Surprisingly agile for a stiffer board which could be down to the wicked tbt shape. Bottom line... point and go!!”

Jan

“The Wallie was the perfect board for todays sunnie laps. Stable and held an edge well. Landings were solid and easy to find thanks to the luck from the Jib TBT. Perfect rail focust board for anyone looking to improve their rail riding.”

TC

“The Jam will do pretty much anything you want it to, and you'll be smiling the whole time. Super-Stable on the straights and really locked into the carves. It also packs a ton of pop whilst still being mellow enough to butter around on! 3BT is bread & butter, and this is THE JAM!”

Anna

“Really nice, easy and forgiving ride. Perfect for beginner to intermediate or someone advanced who wants to have fun. Carves really nicely and easy to hold an edge.”

Igo

“Knock your nuts off gnarly. Possibly the best Bataleon Ever! It smashes moguls floats over slush, pow. The 3BT is something special and totally catch free but still with edges that claw in a carve so fun in jumps too you wouldn't believe. The looks will surely make anyone want to try this sick surfer. COWABUNGAAA!!”

Scotty

“Super Stable & holds a carve like you would not believe! Great fun, really fast & awesome for jumping!”

Ben

“If you close your eyes on this snowey afternoon, the surfer can take you to any perfect glassy point break.. The shape screams powder. On piste the surfer rolled into the deapest of curves and ensures serious all round fun! Pricey but it looks and ride will be worth every penny!”

Tom

“This board looks like one of those Flying V Guitars and got a lot of attention in the liftline. It carves like it's on rails and the shape allows you to pow through turns. It was sick in the slush and I guarantee that it's even better in the Pow!”

James

“When Popping in an off the piste the Goliath is amazing with the triple base makes it nice and easy to change edges. Because it's a stiffer board when it's on that edge it locks in and just rips away.”

Dan

“Somebody call "trade discriptions" this board is the opposite of Disaster!!
I have a smile from ear to ear. I flicked it more times than my wifes bean and she is a nympho!!”

Zippy

“My other board is a Jam 161 and it is ballistic. Decided to get an Evil Twin 156W and it is freakin' insane. Never had so much fun on a board in my life, it takes just about anything you want to make it do. Wider board makes for deeper carves and as its shorter and has more flex, you can spin it on a dime and get away with being a complete muppet and not end up with your face in the snow. Has to be the best board out there”

joan alderman

“Hi! I've been riding your Disaster for two seasons now. And it is, hands down, the best match for my riding ever (been riding since 1994). So, thank you for that!”

Kaylee

“I'm in love. I can't get another board and mine is ripping to shreds, but I promise that I will love her til the end. I tried a few other boards from different companies, but this baby is light, fast, and efficient. I highly recommend her if you want to go fast <3

p.s. I'm a newb and I can't get anything but this.”

Childeric Bogaert

“This is the first year I tried riding on the Camel Toe. This board is all about happyness. I took it in 53, small but really playful. It turns and carves so quickly it is the perfect match for me. Use it on the slopes, through the park with boardslides and backflips or just kill your friends throughout the powder. Not only technical but also a beauty. What more can I say!! Just loving it :D”

“I was given this board for my birthday and WOW! she the best board I have EVER RODE! The trip base core, fish shape and short tail gives you not only the best surf feeling when your plowing through deep chunky pow, but when you get pitted in some deep snow she gets out like a dream! The Love dominates through tight trees and destroys groomers with her endless edge to edge, super mellow control, and incredible feel, she's a dream to ride :) I would recommend this board to more advanced chick riders who love fresh lines, face shots, and deep powder!”

Thomas

“I was looking forward to riding this board and it did not disappoint! I've had such a blast riding. It's light, responsive, and fun. I'm relatively new to the park game and this gave me the confidence to hit all sorts of rails, boxes, and larger jumps (not huge) that I normally hesitate to hit. I'm riding this relatively shorter than normal and haven't noticed any problem with speed or control. Loving the TBT tech too. Couldn't recommend this board higher!”

Vincy

“This board is amazing. I came to this board from an Arbor Push and it made a huge difference in my riding. It's stable while going fast, and super easy to ride around in the park. Highly recommend the board.

Regarding Battalion the company...

I had to submit this board to Bataleon for warranty replacement, and within a week, I had a new board. No questions asked. Customer service was phenomenal.

Bataleon, you have won yourself a lifetime client.”

Johnny

“Having been through a handful of all-mountain boards before I picked up the Flight, I can confidently say that this board puts all others to shame! So fast. So stable. So much fun. Cuts through crud and sails down hard groomers like a dream. My goal is to let it fly at all of the New England resorts this season!”

Bryan

“This board is unbelievable. I got the 154, coming from a 153 rocker with a flex rating of 6 from a different brand. At first I took a few trail runs and it did not take long to get use to at all. I took it to the park, and this board sends it off jumps. It has a very responsive flex and the cambered profile allows you to pop with little to no effort. My old snowboard was very heavy this snowboard is probably as light as it gets, rotations for days. I've only ridden this deck one time so far, and the next board I get will probably be a Bataleon Global Warmer”

David

“Surf like a dream in 2 meters of fresh powder...I LOVE my Camel Toe! And if you are planning a 50/50 day both on powder and piste, don't worry about it, you don't need 2 boards, the Camel Toe runs and carve hard also on piste!”

Conor landry

“Hands down an amazing board defintley built for the park and jibs but can truly handle anything as I've come to find out. 10 ft cliff to powder drop no problem send it and send it with style easy to tweak a mute or stale fish grab. Feel like jibbing the snow go ahead and high speed press this thing it will snap u back when ur ready to release ur high speed snow press/"snow jib" as for real jibs don't even worry about defining ur edge trust me and trust this board u won't catch a thing. This truest is an amazing board and built very well and durable as I am a very aggressive and somewhat abusive rider and this board just laughs at me when I'm jibbing chairlift towers lol. And the mellow camber w 3bt really allows u to be creative with takeoff and especially landing and yes is super forgiving on landings but I definelty mean creative to because of the flex and mellow camber. I love this board and BATALEON I don't see myself going to anything other than 3bt it just makes sense!!! Thank you BATALEON!”

Chris

“Purchased the Mini Shred for my daughter (10) who was looking to step it up from the grom rental boards. Took her a few runs to get used to the camber but after that it was all smiles. The bindings this board came with are mediocre but work. You can adjust the fit by repositioning the straps as well as the highback (which can be moved further back or forward by folding it down, squeezing the sides and popping it out of the base plate). Switch, groomers, trees and bumps - she's loving this board.”

Damian Banovic

“If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son, cause this Bataleon is better than one! The One E.S. feels so good to ride, it's better than sex! I am exploding with stoke!!!!”

Manuva

“So glad I got The Camel T. No more lactic acid in my back leg. It's one of a kind in the deep and you can ride flater parts of the mountain. It's very close to a surfboard feel. The pronounced tbt produces a super smooth and easy ride.”

Manuva

“The first Bataleon I tested was "the Hero" and that day I just impressed my humble self landing pretty much everything. So I got "the Enemy" which actually became my best buddy. A real charger from powder to halfpipe. Then I probably (home)made the first undi-Split-ed which I still use after 5 seasons. Now I use mainly the Camel Toe in the deep and the Evil Twin elsewhere. It's pretty versatile and I also take it off the tracks or even snowkiting. I do a lot of park laps (no steel though) and the medium flex works also for all sorts of flat tricks or endless buttering that would be impossible on a flat board. With the big comeback of carving I would say the next generation Evil Twin should be a cm wider (I use 159W already).”

Alistair

“Just back from a week in Serre Chevaliere, where i had to hire a board due to carriage restrictions on a last minute flight deal. hired a Battalion Fun Kink through a local shop. Have been riding for over 20 years and normally ride a Burton Dragon and Libtech Pacifier. Took the 162 W for the week and was blown away with the capability of this board. Offpiste was hard, so didnt get a chance to try it, but handled the packed onpiste with ease. really liked the triple base tech. Felt really solid at speed and playfull, but was surprisingly competent once the piste hardened up towards the end of the week. will definitively be checking out your boards when i come to retiring my old boards.”

Mr Bean

“Love this board. Floats like a butter-fly and stings like a B.
Holds the line on my crusty runs but slashes through the park for a full mountain ride.
I recommend this board for everyone who can only grab one stick.
Butter up.”

Mike

“I've been snowboarding 22 years now and Bataleon is the only board I'll buy simply b/c they have the best product on the market. Fun Kink is my go to stick b/c the flex and catch free ride is perfect for this 47 year old ripper.”

andy

“best board ive ridden hands down on my 2nd one now. first rode a bataleon evil twin 3 seasons ago then the asym came out the following season( 2 years ago) bought it up as i worked in a shop and fell in love... my boards beat up as all hell and still shreds harder then any of my friends boards durability wise do not second guess this shape its the best on the market and TBT is life!”

Tony W

“When I first started boarding I tried quite a few different (mostly rentals) boards. I just wasn't getting it but I was determined. A buddy from work suggest trying a Bataleon board. I figured if I bought it and it didn't pan out I could just resell it. I talked to the guys at the local board shop about the brand and how I wanted something that would last me a long time and they basically said because of the 3BT that it should be really easy and forgiving to start off on, and once I get good I'll be able to have some real fun with it. Hands down amazing! I'm on my second season with this baby now and I'm out riding some of my friends who taught me last year. I don't think I'll ever switch from Bataleon, they're just fuckin great!”

Scott Cochran

“I have ridden many boards this year in this young season - after the first run with The One my only thoughts were which Bataleon board I was going to buy next and why I never rode a Bataleon board before. The 3BT is the real deal. I was literally trying to catch an edge and could not. It just kept delivering and delivering all mountain goodness to the point my wife said " you really like this one" I replied " Well it's The One" It dined on crud like it was starved. In the powder I just laughed to the point my goggles fogged up. So true story -she got me The Jam for Christmas..Im ok with that! Buy this board- The One- I will report back on the Jam.”

Jay roth

“I bought this board because it looked sick. Never heard of bataleon, I figured if the board sucked I would put it on my wall. I've been riding this board four years now and I love it. This is the best board I've ever ridden, I don't think I'll ever ride anything other tha bataleon!!!!!!
Fuck ya”

Philip Gibney

“Hands down the funnest all round board I've ridden. The TBT makes it a dream in powder and the wide waist lets me carve without fearing any drag. Soft enough to make it playful but with a solid core that makes it a stable charger. Don't see myself riding anything else any time soon.”

Ross Cleland

“The Global Warmer is by far the most fun board I've ever ridden!”

Snowboard Mag

“The One is built for any type of riding condition. From pow to groomers, the triple-based nosed and slightly less triple-based swallowtail allow for that surfy feel and that float you always hope for in a board. If your looking to lay into some soulful turns and enjoy everything the mountains have to offer, then The One is a must-have in your snowboard quiver.”

Chris Sturgess
snowfit.co.uk

“While Whitegold may have gone, Bataleon’s premium line of boards lives on. Featuring the DNA of last years Whitegold Proto, The One E.S. is an exceptional snowboard for anyone looking for an all-mountain option that is fun to ride and handles superbly. It’s light, smooth and effortless to turn thanks to the clever core construction and refined Triple Base Technology.

In the past I have found Bataleons can be a bit swimmy, but The One E.S. holds an edge really well in all conditions and gives you positive feedback. It’s these qualities that make you feel invincible when you are on The One E.S., a board that has the potential to take your riding to the next level and beyond.”

Sam Oetiker
Onboard Magazine

““The Bataleon Magic Carpet was one of the most unique and fun boards that I had the pleasure of testing this year. The 3BT in the nose and tail is super pronounced and distinctive (think hull of a boat!) and it floated in powder like an absolute dream considering I was riding it pretty short.

It was also super fun to ride on piste thanks to its twin-tip shape and softish flex, which made buttering around feel effortless. For a relatively soft board, it dealt with speed well and still felt stable and responsive when charging.

I’d recommend this one to riders who are looking for a versatile and playful powder board that they want to have a lot of fun on.””

Mike Brindley
Whitelines

“The Bataleon Global Warmer is as surfy and buttery as you like, but still comes with plenty of pop, making it perfect for riders looking for a flowy freestyle whip. If Holy Bowly-style, tranny-packed snow setups are your dream, you could do a lot worse than having this under your feet.

While the give in the tip and tail definitely reflects its soft flex rating, the carbon around the inserts stops this feeling like too much of a noodle when going from edge to edge.

It sits nicely on all three flat areas of the base, making this a lot of fun as a playful but versatile resort rider too – ideal for mucking about on mellow runs, but still with enough oomph when you give it some speed.”

Ed Blomfield
Whitelines

“The catch-free nature of Triple Base Technology has long given Bataleon a strong reputation amongst park rats, but the updated Fun.Kink successfully blends that freestyle pedigree with genuine all mountain performance.

Where many so-called “quiver killers” are on the stiff side – making them hard work to throw about on rails – the Fun.Kink lives up to its name; the mellow flex encouraged me to butter, jib and generally get creative on man-made terrain, yet the generous twin outline ploughed easily through the powder that lay off the sides of the piste.”

Adam Hanmore
thesnowboardshop.co.uk

““This felt strong and solid underfoot, and didn’t disappoint when charging down the piste. It’s quick from edge-to-edge, with a solid edge hold through the turn thanks to the triax glass and basalt stringers. The camber gave plenty of pop off the side hits and the 3BT makes it forgiving if you don’t quite get the landing right.

You need a bit of effort to get a nice press but the medium flex seems about right for this board. It holds up well at speed and can take a heavy landing from bigger jumps.

The Evil Twin is suitable for all level of riders looking to progress their freestyle riding across the whole mountain.””

Chris Sturgess
snowfit.co.uk

“For anyone who already loves the Evil Twin but wants just a bit of an upgrade, you have to try this board. By adding the asymmetrical sidecut they have turned the handling and cornering up to 11; it’s fast, smooth and solid over all terrain.

This isn’t some floppy twin that is super easy to butter but washes out as soon as you stop doing flatland tricks and pick up some pace – this is a proper all-mountain freestyle board.”

White Magic

“I started boarding in 2015, using a Burton - catching edge after edge. This year, 2016, I bought a Bataleon Whatever board (and a fun.kink), no edge catches thanks to the TBT and my boarding progressed so much. I flipping love it. The board has a nice mound of flex, looks fantastic, easy to ride. You become brand loyal when you get a Bataleon board, I love them and can't wait to see their new lines. I'd love to try more boards! Magic Carpet, The Jam, Evil Twin, and beyond!!!”

stian

“Best board i have had, super light and great for everything. Used it in park and pow and works perfect.
it is also superfast:-)”

Shay

“No joke, best board out there.
Wanna run crazy tight trees? Done.
Want to blast down big mnt. bowls? Easy.
Get funky in bounds? Ain't no thing.
I've put this up against everything the industry can throw at it, and to date, nothing has touched it. This board can do everything in style, and believe me, I'm on my third one.”

Pierre Martineau

“Crazy !!! Got an Airobic and Fun.kink before that one and the G.W takes the best of both Airobic and Fun.kink. Perfect for freestyle of course but also incredible in the powder, it goes surprisingly well.
Awesomeness : 10”

Peter

“Best board ever. Light av with great pop, good looking also.”

Steve

“Took this board for my first rides in the Norwegian off-piste and was absolutely blown away. I have never ridden anything so smooth, fast, light, and effortless etc. in powder. I can see why it's is aptly named "Magic Carpet" because I was floating most of the way down. It made the entire day an unforgettable experience, and I can confidently say this is the best board I've ever owned.”

Stan

“First of all I love TBT and have ridden TBT boards for 4-5 years now. The ET asym is a good board but im not sure I like the asym, since the board feels shorter on the heel side it is not that much better grip at least not when you carve. For me personally I like the normal boards better and it just feels a little off when I carve and do butters on boxes.
But I have not tried the board in icy conditions, it might be better on that.

JONNY BIG

“BEST RAIL BOARD EVER MADE.................”

Aleix Gallimo

“The Jam got my soul. I came from Downhill skateboarding and I was looking for the same speed feeling, for push the board on the limit of the grip, and make fast twists.
But also a great board for the pow days.
That's an awesome mix!”

Jonasty

“2014 Goliath is perfect for the deep pow here at Bigwhite. Triple base is making me ride like a pro! My kids agree to ride with me again.”

Lorenz Richard

“Rode it on the weekend and it blow me away. I am snowboarding over 24 years but this is the best board I have ever ridden in powder and on slope - hands down.”

Tyler Kinghorn

“I bought the Evil Twin after riding a cheap board for three seasons.
Her maiden voyage was at Sunshine Village. We rode up the gondola to the first chair, and I was surprised at how much control I had with only my front foot in the bindings.
My first impression when I strapped in was the flex- she wasn't nearly as stiff as the board I had been riding.
My second impression was how responsive she was when I started carving down the hill- it was effortless, as easy as breathing. I was able to switch with no problem whatsoever.
Then, we hit the powder. She was able to coast through smoothly, and I was able to manage moguls pretty damn well.
When we tried the park, she performed just as well. With the side bases lifted up, it was damn near impossible to catch an edge landing a jump. I'm not great at rails so I can't say much about her performance there, but all around, the best board I have ever ridden.”

Engin Kafadar

“Today got it frist whitegold north...:)”

Michel

“This is the 3rd revision of this board which is strapped to my feet since 4 seasons. If you like riding hard boards, who still give you the ability to do Big Jumps and a couple of Rails in the Park, then this is yours. Don't get me wrong it's still possible to do some nice butters, but you just gotta put a lot of skills to it. I am a super agressive rider, this board is a killer machine while going at the speed limit on the slopes, no flattering, no catching edges, just unlimited speed. Friends asked me many times if they could test ride the board and all were stoked with the speed. Now lets talk about the Freeriding feeling, this board is sick in pow, I've done so many redicoulus line with it and have to say it's amazing, floats well and has the speed you need to overcome some of the flats. For me this is my all mountain weapon, I would not recommend this to intermediate riders, because I think you'd do better with a bit softer board like the Goliath. One last word, I am being asked a few times why I don't ride Burton, let me say this, Bataleon gives me much better value for the money and their service is great. A previous board had issues with the base and it was replaced immediately after providing some pictures. I won't mention the TBT as you have to test for yourself, it's tough to explain the advantages. All I can say that I have much less catching edges while doing Pro Kicker lines than ever before.”

Alexei Sapsford

“The name of this board is apt for it. Feels super stable on pretty much any terrain. I've ridden it for 8 days now and even though I'm a tall guy (6'2"/188cm) was feeling very comfortable at 50mph+ on this board. Seems a lot lighter than some of my other boards and even with the stability, has enough flex to have some fun with. Very buttery when it needs to be. Runs wider than regular 156 boards which works well for us big footed people.”

Jaymez Clark

“When I walked into the shop asking recommendations for a board, the shop keep dived at the Evil Twin, and I can totally see why. This board is sick. End of. Stop reading reviews and go buy one.”

Jack Gren

“Been stoked on 3BT ever since I bought a Locust in 2008...which, years later, I replaced with an Undisputed. I've also owned a Riot and, currently, a GW. Looking forward to riding my new 2016 Disaster. Keep in mind that Bataleons are a bit stiffer than other brands at the same stiffness number and you can't go wrong.”

“Great board for jibbers and park rats, I have been riding this board for one year now. And it just shreds!

Very nice flex, and a sweet pop. The TBT make this board also very forgiving.”

Daniel

“Bought my first kink last year....awesome board, good for everything you want to do...i really don't want anything else...”

MC

“This board will make you feel all kinds of better. Got it a couple of years ago. Really versatile, floats on powder, well up to knee deep (maybe not so much in waist deep!) and is a super fun board on a resort, although I've had my struggles carving with it on hard pack icy groomers with it. Overall, made me happy. My roomate kept borrowing it, she seemed to like it! Thinking of buying a new board and here I am looking up the same one... again!”

Mike Brindley – Whitelines

“When you first strap in to this one, you can instantly tell where its strengths lie. Pressing and spinning on a spot are as easy as it gets, and the Jib 3BT has nice wide and stable balance points at the nose and tail.

As it’s at the soft end of Bataleon’s spectrum, it’s also pretty obvious what the board is not intended for. That large flat surface area and pliable flex combine to make things difficult if you’re trying to power through choppy terrain, and holding course at high speed can be an issue – so it’s definitely not an all-rounder.

Nevertheless, if you take the Disaster as a jib specialist (as you should), you are unlikely to be disappointed. The price point is reasonable, hang-ups are non-existent, and trick control is handed to you on a plate.”

Darren Williams – thesnowboardshop.co.uk

“When I first got on an Evil Twin I thought it was going to be a soft, playful jib stick. I was wrong. It’s a medium flex, cambered snowboard with plenty of pop that is best suited to lapping the park and all-mountain freestyle.

Bataleon have never entertained the concept of ‘rocker’ in their snowboards – and they don’t need to, as the side bases are lifted up from the snow at the contact points, making it almost impossible to catch an edge.

It’s great for newbies, and also for riders who are trying new tricks and are sick and tired of smashing themselves to bits in the process.”

Chris Strurgess – snowfit.co.uk

“This is the board that finally won me over to Bataleon. In the past I’ve found their Triple Base Technology a little loose and sketchy on ice, but the finely-tuned version on the Magic Carpet makes it a very stable and fun snowboard.

The tech and shaping has been taken from last years’ Whitegold Proto, and the resulting board is floaty, super light, poppy, and begs you to mess about and try new things.

Whether its in tight trees, off side hits or ripping down the piste, the Magic Carpet flies over everything”

Mike Smith

“The guy in the store (EVO) told me that on Bataleon you get best of both worlds due to the 3D base (3BT) Lose and forgiving like rocker but the stability of a cambered board. Sounded to good to be thru but it really is. This G.W. is a real jibboard but is still does perform really good on medium sized jumps and even carves better than any board I've ridden before. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a Jibboard that does more than just that.”

Henk van Hattem

“This is the most fun I ever had on a snowboard. It makes so much sense to ride twin in pow. So fun to do 180s and butters and kick up pow every which way. super easy to land cliff jumps. Also use it in the park and its great on side hits.”

Chris Cartwright

“WOOOOW.... What can I say, I took this away at the end of last season to the Alps and loved every minute of it. everyone in the group had a go and everyone loved it, short so turns on a knife edge, floats like a dream in powder, runs fast and straight on the piste and even took it in the park! the board flex was really forgiving and made an outstanding playful, smile on your face ride.”

“I have changed to a Lobster board now but bought a Bataleon Airobic 3 years ago and it is was great, really like TBT boards.”

Dan Boom

“My first Bataleon, a 2013-2014 Riot 159W, made me so thrilled when nuking down the mountain shredding and playing like a dolphin I was close to the point of hysterical laughing and crying at the same time, from pure extacy :-) Y3/H 4 iT!”

Jordan

“The Bataleon Disaster is absolutely the most fun I have had on a snowboard to date! I highly recommend this deck to anyone!!”

Eric J

“I straight forward Love the Global Warmer and the Boss... I have owned well over 30 boards and for park, mtn, under a foot of pow they do great! For progressing riding switch the tbt is the best out of the 15 boards I've tried at my local mtn demo days when all the reps come and let you check out next years gear. The boat like shape helps me progress without rocker. I've always liked camber boards, so that's why I enjoy them so much. Thanks for making fun playful snowboards that seem to be stable and have a solid base. I used to only ride the B company boards and they were good, however I didn't progress as fast as I wanted.”

“Hallo.

“Bataleon=Perfection”

“I ride mt baker about 50 to 75 days a season, the camel toe was my board of choice for powder days over a foot of fresh. I have now been riding the Omni on all of the good days and I absolutely love it. I rode it in 14" a couple weeks ago and I was completely amazed all over again, once you ride directional in deep powder its hard going back. TBT floats in powder better than a flat board with whatever camber rocker combo you please, everyone must try for themselves. Coming from l#bt@#$%s these boards are top quality. Must Recommend.”

“I'm still riding (season 2014) my Evil Twin from 2007 and I freakin love it even more for every season. Works great on everything from rails to powder and I will never buy a new board unless it has TBT!!”

“The 2013-14 Goliath is an amazing board!I did my first proper 360 on it. So STOKED!!!!. BATALEON is AWESOME AND THE TBT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I bought a disaster few months ago and I couldn´t be happier. It´s faster on track than I thought and It´s very light and responds to all kinds of tricks.”

“I’m riding a 146 2013 Distortia and I love it!! It is definitely a park board. It is my 2nd year riding park and it find that it rides very well (I’ve been riding mountain for 14 years) The edges don’t catch, it jumps well and it makes me feel confident to try new tricks and keep pushing myself. My previous board is a 2006 Salomon Ivy (rated a freestyle board (2 of 5) with a mid flex range (2.5 of 5)) and compared to that, this board feels soft between the bindings, but the pop in the tail is great once you get the hang of it. That goes for the TBT base too. The heel turns throw you off sometimes when riding mountain since you need to lean a bit more for the edge to catch. It also makes it kind of crappy on ice (I ride on the East coast). When this board meets ice, it stands no chance, so find myself breaking out my old Ivy for mountain riding. Icy days are no kind of fun. If there is a bit of snow left on the hill or the ice is a bit soft, it can perform though, but it’s sketchy. However this board is incredibly fun to ride otherwise. It is very playful and it just puts a smile on my face.

I don’t find it a fast board. The softness makes it a bit unresponsive when riding mountain at speed and it chatters a bit. I find if performs much better on the mountain if you are scoping for fun features to jib off of and just fool around in general.

Being on the East coast, I can’t say how it performs in powder.

It rides switch beautifully. I’m glad for the different icons on the nose and tail because it helps me figure out which direction I usually ride as I get confused sometimes. Yes, the switch rides that well!

I ride it with Rome Madison Boss bindings and 86FT ThirtyTwo boots and they pair beautifully with it. I have tried the board with my old Ride Ex bindings (also of the 2006 era and not women’s specific) and I find they are too stiff for the board. The board really loses some of its playfulness with the stiffer bindings.

I would completely recommend this board to any girl who wants to ride park with some mountain in between.”

“I have the 2013 Global Warmer. I keep going back to it despite trying others.

It always has been my 'go to' board”

“CAMEL TOE & JAM...sounds like an interesting combo.Chamonix, Argentiere,Tignes & Val d'iser 6 weeks of boarding on and off piste 12/13. Am I going to buy a new board for 13/14...aye! probably an ENEMY...Bataleon, I would not now ride anything else...CAMEL TOE & JAM...oh yes please.”

“I have never felt so comfortable going so fast through so much terrain as I do on my Goliath. Two seasons into it, it's tough as hell, and it lets me cover the entire mountain (e.g, all of Whistler / Blackcomb) without ever feeling sketched out.

I would never put anything else on my feet.”

“I'm a level 2 CASI instructor and I would recommend a Bataleon. Great in the park and all over the mountain. I ride an Evil Twin.. sick board.”

Jean-Christophe

“I just bought the bataleon goliath 156cm and tried it last week on perfect spring conditions in French alpes . TBT is amazing, that's a pure feeling . I have tried it and I keep it ! never ride such a thing, the best I ever tried.”

Troy

“I really love my 2010 Enemy+++. Fast, very light, stable and edge hold is incredible. I hope Bataleon make Enermy+++ perfect twin because I like to do switch ride/skate/spin. Right now I had to move one of my bindings to different holes to make it look like a twin. I use this board almost everywhere except moguls (That's Airobic's turf).”

Jake (kubko)

“Bataleon is truly making the best boards in the industry in my opinion. With the eternal war of base profiles, bataleon gives the stability of full-length camber, but with the float of rocker with the TBT. Their boards are exactly how I think a snowboard should feel. yeah for it!”

Jamie

“Bought my 1st board this season its a Global Warmer and I defo made the right choice... This board can do it all”

New Mexico Rider

“bataleon snowboards are the best snowboards ever.... and ever is a really long time”

“the 2 days i had on my new 2013 riot were amazing (apart from the massive crash), can't wait to heal so i can get back out on the white stuff ... tbt, yeah for it :)”

sam slam

“I used to have a quiver of 6 boards, tbt made all but the race board completely obsolete, the jam is a quiver of one. Now i wonder how tbt would be on a race/alpine/freecarve board would be? tbt don't make boards slower, that's for sure..”

sam slam

“my testicles were really swollen, so i went to the doc. after a bunch of negative tests he asked if i had recently gotten a bataleon, when i said yes he said "you have a case of TBT affliction, it gives you HUGE BALLS! don't worry, girls will say YEAH FOR IT!"”

Fred

“Got an Evil Twin and took it out today for the first time and it kicks more ass than Jackie Chan on speed. If I ever buy another board it will be Bataleon period.”

James W

“Just bought a Gulli Disaster, can't wait to use it! Already got a Riot and I love it to bits. YEAH FOR IT”

derek ayala

“lets see, ive owned a few boards before i got my riot . and i have never in my life thought about going back to sh*%@* flat boards . tbt for life.”

James Findlay

“Lobster Jib Board 153, most fun I've ever had on a snowboard. Never riding a non TBT board again.”

Daniel

“Bought a 2012 Goliath intending to just ride it on powder but it goes everywhere on the mountain.
No more catching edges and the board looks sick. TBT is where its at!”

nick lippert

“i have the evil-twin

“...Still riding Bataleon!”

James

“TBT is like skating with loose trucks. Super fun board.”

“I have the 2013 Whatever. Definitely yeah for it! It's my first Bataleon board and not the last one!”

Sandra

Thank you!”

“TBT is the truth.
Nothing more to say.

Aaron

“Have got the Whatever and its a awesome board, easy and fun to ride and it'll do anthing you've got the balls to do. Big fan of Bataleon, "Yeah for it"”

Comme Erçial

“Just got a 2013 Goliath and after riding it for a while i would def pay full price and beyond for this board. It's perfect as an all round stick.”

Paul

“I was hesitant at first but I decided to get the Fun.Kink and I have no regrets. It delivered everything I had hoped for. It's fast, flexible, and forgiving. On top of that it has tons of pop. Bataleon took fun to a whole new level.”

Glenn

“Been hooked on your board for 3/4 years, funny and good!!”

Seton Sieracki

“I don't have a Bataleon board but I tested one out and they are sick as hell. The triple base is so cool and feels great and way different from what I ride, mostly better than anything else. I will trade my annoying b$%^&n for a Bataleon any day...”

Filip Modrzejewski

“First of all BATALEONS are original and really outstanding boards with perfect graphics and its fitted with even the most demanding riders needs. Secondly perfect flex connected with very strong durability witch makes that board almost undestructable. This the most important things which i, as a passionate rider, looking at during chosing board for myself. Just keep on doin what u doin cause you're the best :)”

James

“Bataleon disaster are cool”

JamesBrace

“First session at the snowdome last night on the TBT Lobster Parkbaord- you're so right, awesome technology. I've been snowboarding for 4 years, a holiday each year and a bit of snowdome, but with kids in tow and no lessons after Week 1, it's been slower progress than your typical full-of-shit boarder would have you believe. I've been riding cambered or flat rockered boards, as after a brief demo on a banana, I've kind of ruled out 'new tech' as a bit of red-herring that might liven-up a ride for some, but for others it just makes everything feel sketchy and reduces confidence.

First off, the TBT seemed to level everything off, it really improving my technique and I could feel my front foot biting more, rather than being so back footed and clumsy. Also I noticed at low speed even when the odd wrong edge touched down it didn't actually catch, which meant far less embarrassing stacks on the pull rope (or at the bottom of the chair lift when abroad)- in fact I didn't properly stack it once in a 3 hour session.

As far the board ride itself- really smooth and glidey... nice fast acceleration and good top end with loads and loads of control on the edge to edge transitions. It carves really tightly without much effort and totally stable throughout, I can't wait to see what happens when I open it up a bit on a nice wide red run. Being a snowdome, you've got to come to some quite sharp abrupt stops as it gets crowded and there's always beginners out. This is where the board really excelled- the TBT gives a strong braking sensation, but you can feel it comes to a much more controlled stop - it's like ABS for snowboards.

Negatives? Only one very slight negative. When strapping and laying the board down you can't really 'dig a ledge with an edge' for stability. So if you strap in standing up (as I do), then you're going to need to make sure you don't mind a bit of slide or you're on level ground.

So in summary, what an awesome board! Ideally I would have liked the 2011/12 graphic Evil Twin as the Bataleon brand is probably a bit more mainstream for a proper adult- but this is essentially the same board without those glow-in-the-dark skulls of the 2012 ET. However if Bataleon (or Lobster) isn't on someone's radar- maybe they think it's a bit of freestyle kid / park rat brand, or they've been fed a line on the internet about some weird rocker profile, then they should seriously test one out before parting with cash for something else. The TBT really does work to make everything so much easier. I was spinning around flat 360s and having right laugh by the end- I've no major freestyle aspirations, but just to mess around on the snow was cool and will certainly liven up those lazy morning blue runs. Okay it was only one session at a dome, but honestly it's transformed my riding already.

“Knew I wanted one from the day I found out about these guys. Bought a 2009/10 Evil Twin 155 and love it. I tell everyone that the biggest difference is when you go back to any other board, you feel like you're gonna DIE! Bombin' 120kph on my Bataleon though... No problem.”

Karl Hughes

“Thanks to the Whatever I board..!!!! so much so I have just bought a Jam too....now I look forward to some WOW in the POW !
Cheers Bataleon for for giving me the door to a new world of wonder.”

“yesterday i had in my house my brand new Bataleon Goliath 160w! sooooo beautiful!! i love it! thanx guys for your work! you are the best!”

Chris Moye

“I have been riding Bataleon since 08 and will never switch back. Tried many diffeerent flavors of reverse camber and didn't dig on them. Borrowed a Bataleon Jam from a friend at my home hill for a season and was MEGA sold on it. It took a day to get used to the edges being raised up a bit. Once I did though, the improvement to my riding was immense and immediate. Faster straightlines, sharper and quicker turns, mega pop and loose on the butters. All the while floating better than my old board that was considerably larger. Currently rocking the Riot for the third year in a row. The new base shapes are even better than before. If you are on the fence about these boards, check one out on a demo day at your hill. I promise, it won't be a day wasted. Shout out to Tyler for getting me my new deck faster than I could've, had I come to the warehouse to pick it up. Yeah for it!”

Adrian

“Hey I met your rep Nando last night at the "La Familia", "Shoot the Moon" movie event. He was super rad and really repped you guys well. I can't wait for the snow to start falling so that me and Goliath can start ripping and stomping on everything in our path!”

doug

“Picked up a 2006 The Enemy in great condition for a song on eBay. I can't wait to shred the shit out of this stick. Had a dream about a board with TBT which sent me on quest for a Bataleon board once I learned someone actually made boards like in my dream. This season will rule now that I have one in my possession.”

Sinjan Potgieter

“so i got the bataleon disaster today and road it at grous mountains opening day. it was freakin amazing the best board i have ever ridden by far!! the soft flex is amazing for jibbing and is surprisingly very stable at high speeds! im so stoked on this board!! yeahforit!

Anna

“I liked my 2008 violenza... But i am madly in love with my new distortia! I just LOVE it!

Mitch Coutts

“Finally got to ride my 154 Bataleon Evil Twin yesterday and it is true what they say about TBT. I immediately felt the diffrence. No more edge catching and extreme speed. Edging was excellent. I will never turn back now this board has changed the way I view snowboarding. Yeah For It!”

Adam

“Just ordered this year's OMNI to go along with last year's ET Artist. Definitley need these backseat inserts for the pow on its way to Bachelor!!

Chumdizz

“2011 ET lots of fun! I'll let my friends hop on it to test it out, they're all sold.. My brother just won an ET off eBay, loves it. Ive ridden ride, forums, rossignal, Rome and I used to think my rossignal was a sweet board.. I use that to drag behind a snowmobile on dirt roads. My wife's never ridden one yet so she'll be surprised Christmas day, I'll let you know how much she loves her Disrtortia! Thanks bataleon for TBT!! Yeah for it!!”

Rossy

“Was bombing a black diamond from the peak of Whistler on my Airobic 151 today, doing an olie from a bump, sketching out on the landing. I would have eaten sh*t if it wasn't for the tbt :D I'm hooked for life.

neil

“Tried TBT for the first time yesterday. The difference is astounding. There's no way I'll be going back to a regular base. Like all seemingly simple ideas TBT is a milestone in development. Flat bases are extinct...

Kieran mahoney

“Evil twins are sick sticks! just replaced my 08 55 with the new 54 and will stay ET as long as they keep making them!”

J

“Just replaced my 2009 Fun.Kink US edition for yeah, Whatever! I hope it rocks (although rocker SUCKS) even more than the fun thing!”

Sumdum Haolie

“Omni 167, Me 5'10" 190lbs, Not bad for a short board, a lil catchy where the tbt stops and the normal base begins, deffinitely have to add holes on the rear base, not back far enough for even moderate pow days, base seems super soft. Seems like a good Idea just not that well executed.”

Chris

“To put it simply, I will never be able to try another brand of snowboard. I can't tell if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but I am stuck with Bataleon for life. TBT defines my riding style these days... You have created something special. :)

David Cameron

“Goddamn it Bataleon. I've just bought a Goliath. I'm not even going to be able to ride it for a year but after I demoed it I couldn't help myself, TBT is GOOD. Goddamn you and your fine ass boards, it's going to be sitting taunting me for the next 12 months.”

Justin W.

“TBT must actually be the best thing since toast. I go up on a friday with my old flat board, and couldn't do butter spins over 360. I get a Evil Twin the next day and I'm doing butter 1080's. Amazing. Now I will only buy boards from Bataleon and Lobster

Chris Ferrara

“TBT is the best board technology there is. BATALEON FOR LIFE! i never rode a jib board as good as the disaster, its super soft, it pops with ease, and you can butter and ride a rail like its your job on this board. TBT RULES

huw

“truly stoked with the new evil twin 57 tbt is the only way to go. The board rides awesome even better than the 10/11 evil twin a truly all mountain board! Yeah for it !!!!!!

Bryan P

“First time on a TBT board...1112 157 Airobic. Catch an edge? No. I will never go back. Thanks Bataleon.

Clemens

“after 12 years of snowboarding I was searching for something new... I found the Whatever158w_1112 and i really loved it after the first turns! you didn't promise to much. it rotates that easy (edges never got caught), it is smooth to carve, edges cut into icy slopes like a hot knife and also in powder it is also great. this is snowboarding!!!”

Bernard Sonke

“The past week I've been riding powder, park, crappy forest paths, slush and some icy halfpipes. No matter what I threw at my Evil Twin 157 11/12 and no matter what the conditions were ... the board just handled it! TBT helped me out during some sketchy landings and makes the board switch sides fast as lightning without catching edge at all! One word for this: AWESOME! Thx Bataleon!”

RilesWithSoul

“I didn't believe you guys but my Airobic handled 4ft of pow pretty damn good for being a jib board.

Jan

“Just got my new Evil Twin AE for free because my old Evil Twin had some shit on the base. i love guarantee! TBTs the shit!

Mike

“Rode my 157w Goliath yesterday, and now I am extremely hooked. Tried taking a jump on the slope and made a sketchy landing. Without TBT i would have face planted. But the TBT save me :D Yeah 4 It!!

P-rock

“Went out and bought a bataleon Goliath 157 wide, best choice of my life. Never riding anything but bataleon, so sweet, so stable, no downside.

Maarten

“Just tried my Goliath and it was mind blowing. Piste, powder, park...it just shreds everything. I'm really hooked to Bataleon-TBT and will never buy another board. Keep up the good work guys. YEAH FOR IT!

Riles

“Loved seeing Gulli ride the feel better in TB20, after he breaks his disaster!!

mike D

“I have been riding since 1987 and TBT is the most fun thing I have ever been on! YEAH FOR IT!

chris

“First week i rode TBT i managed my first 360, now did my first 540 thanx to bataleon handing confidence to no edge catching on under/ overrotation. sadly board is almost wrecked, but i am sure i find another awesome evil twin - yeah for it!

Jay

“So i got to try a Fun.Kink last year and let me say it was one of the best feeling boards ive ever rode! It could shred pretty much anything (park, groomers, backcountry booters, and even deep deep pow!) Im looking into buying a 2012 Bataleon for this year so i thought i'd get some feed back from you guys on which would be best for me. Im 125 lbs, just over 6 feet tall, and have a boot size of 10.5. I live in B.C, Canada so im looking for a board that can handle some deep pow, and will jib down the main runs, with the odd park lap through the day.

Thanks guys :)”

Mark

“Yea boi! Finally took my Funkink out on the white stuff. Was getting greets for the board from staff and guest's before I even hit the snow! Just getting over an ankle injury but this board still felt a dream. Smooth, sharp turns, spins like a nutter without catch and the flex is sic! Day one but loving it already. Big ups from NZ Bataleon! Tu meke”

atros

“Yesterday, it was my birthday, I put my Goliath aside and tried my brand new Undisputed. Freshies + Undisputed = epicness! TBT forever!”

Shaun McGuinness

“I bought The Jam 2 years ago and have never looked back. It took a little while to get used to TBT but even when I have caught an edge I can regain control and don't end up head first in the pow! - awesome! I live in the French Pyrenees and we have a lot of flat sections of piste which freaked me a bit with my old board but with The Jam it's just plaon sailing:)”

alan tilstone

“I will never go back to any other board ever:) the best board ive ever ridden,...... dont knock it till you try it:)”

Special_Blend11

“With the Jam you'll never catch edge!!! TBT is awesome”

“Just ordered my 149 fun kink soo pumped to rip up some rails”

Mr. R

“I have just recieved the new omni 161. so stoked, can't wait to spend 5 months in Fernie with it and my 2010/11 Airobic 151 :D

TBT for life.”

Stu Cant

“So i've been riding my brand new 154 funkink for the past couple of weeks now and what else can i say but wow!
Actually I can say more...
I did have a 155 evil-twin (smiley face one) which i loved and still do but the funkink with it's softer flex and blunted tip n tail is awesome! it has great pop twice the height for half the effort. more butter than an obese artery and can ride thru pretty much anythin i put in front of it. the only bad thing i can say about is at high speeds it does tend to chatter a bit but hey it's a 154 and i'm 6ft1. Bataleon, since i first rode the evil twin at a demo day at cardies in 07 you've had a customer for life and my new stick only cements that decision!!
YEAH FOR IT!!!!!!!”

Special_Blemd11

“Demo'd the jam earlier this year finally ordered one of the last 6 of the jams. Can't wait to ride the board again! BATALEON keepbupbthe work.”

Kwristofr Moye

“Oh man, wtf.

Its the middle of summer and I'm wating snowboard vids on the daily.

Can't wait to get on a new Bataleon deck, new art and sapes looks sick.

Be ready.”

tucker huntoon

“I love the tbt. im never going back to a flat board”

aberbrawler

“I ride the 11 evil twin classic... i love this board, i love the base. Things i've noticed are. Stiffness / Flex rating rates the boards more flexible than they really are. I am liking the new 2012 flex ratings as I feel they will be more accurate. Other thing is the base seems a little slow. Found myself struggle to keep up on the flatter traverse runs. Having said that the pros out do the cons by far. Nice and buttery but when you need them, the edges hold true on bigger kickers. Didn't even take a full run to get use to the playful TBT. Can't wait for the pipe to be built down here in Australia to see how it performs in there.”

saroogi mac

“I gave a review on Powderroom.net on the Bataleon Distortia here's an excerpt from it: The Distortia is a park board, true twin, positive camber with Bataleon (and now Lobster) signature TBT. I fell in love with it as soon as I stood on it...turn initiation is easy, but solid. By comparison with other boards, this one demands a little more persuasion; it's not a noodle, and to me, that's a strength! Quick hybrid base for hitting indoor and outdoor kickers...(although not as quick as some sintered boards); and extremely solid on landings, you feel supported and confident to try much more. Where a lot of friends orientate towards rocker cambers, Distortia remains ALIVE with its positive camber popping away downhill, and almost springloaded nose and tail, which allows you load ollies to the max and injects life into your riding, however, it is ingeniously coupled with TBT; which forgives you for making a faux pas on a box or (some) mogles! Summing up Strengths: Poppy and lively camber; good amount of tortional flex for initiating different turns; right amount of flex for loading ollies; solid park board for hitting kickers stable on landings; quick hybrid base; forgiving TBT; NOT A NOODLE!
The Distortia is a beautiful, epic park board that has improved my riding. It's not a limp wristed noodle that has a nervous breakdown everytime you hit a landing; it has your back. Due to its solid construction and forgiving TBT, it will egg you on to try more; which you will.”

Kieran

“these boards rock, i just got an evil twin and its rad, super buttery but carves like a fiend and the flex is perfect. takes a while to get used to, especially if you're riding park but its well worth it. bottom line, buy this board if you want to ride better.”

ethan

“Bataleon is awesome,Evil Twin best board i have ever ridden...love you guys so much getting bataleon tattoed on my leg lol”

michiel hoeyberghs

“IT WAS GREAT! when i bought it and tested it for the first time (in austria) i coundn't belive i was riding it, it feels so smooth, it responded to all the things i wantet to.
riding bataleon on this perfect snow was like heaven. i didn't regret a minute of it.”

joe

“a friend of mine had one and i didnt really think much of it having not tryed it, then got one off ebay on a whim. Now i've had a few snowboards, in order, morrow, trans, salomon, burton, prior, bataleon, nidecker, seveniker(cant spell that one)

by far, the bataleon is my favourite board for everything on the piste, i even found it fun off piste, and its a bloody (evil)twin park board!!!! When i come to getting a new board it will be another bataleon, infact i might get a goliath anyway, if you sold a tapered, rockerd nose pintail i would have that as well

ive not met that many people on the piste with bataleons, but whenever i do we give each other a nod, and normally have the 'ill never have another snowbaord again' talk

incase you have'nt guessed, im a fan”

Ed Jones

“Just Wow :) I first heard about Bataleon from a good Japanese friend of mine 4 years ago and hadn't seen them before, then again in NZ 2 years ago from a Czech friend. The after hearing the Helgason boys are using TBT on their boards I thought I'd give them a go.

I've picked up an Evil Twin 156 Wide and it's amazing! Way faster than I thought it would be, nice and soft for mucking around, holds the edge solidly through hard carves and most importantly is a bag of fun! The TBT takes a teeny bit of getting used to, but as soon as I started charging full bore it felt just like a regular board. Can't wait to take it into the park once the Australian season goes into full swing.

Thanks Bataleon! And thanks TBT!!!!”

Lo

“I worked as a snowboard instructor for an entire season on my Goliath. An amazing board. Could teach students from every diffrent level with it, beginner, powder, carving and park. The board also made me ride much better. One little downside, the deck damages a bit faster than other boards. This however has ofcourse no influence on the riding.
Thanks alot! from Amsterdam”

daniel

“I'am a 49 yo beginner, this is my 2nd board. I love freeride, and the omni gives me this secure and forgiving feeling at high speed, I feel very confident with it, and it seems that I can do anything with it. the only thing is that the rear leg is working a lot for me(maybe because I'm and old thing...).
Daniel FRANCE”

Old Griz

“Took my new Jam out this season to an icy week in the 3 valleys with my brother and his new aluma-cored top-end freeride deck from another 'B'rand. After a warm up couple of runs, a race was clearly on the cards.
When he finally made it down, I tried not to gloat.
This board is lightning, love it.
If you want to pootle arround or do little pops, forget it- get something else. If you want to go huge and hoon all over the hill, get the Jam. No question.”

BIG

“Riot159 2007/08
Been riding this for jibs and the park, and also the obligatory blast down the POW.!! Speed is my deal and although this board is a 159 it will hold me 'tight' when things get 'loose'.! i own other cambered boards that will perform well in pow and at speed but just dont forgive you while riding the rest of the mountain due to the TBT on the Riot159. also rode rockered boards but didn't feel so secure while gunning it.
So now its time for a new ride and i cant wait to see the new boards for 2012 from BATALEON cause for me the versitility of
'CAMBERED TBT' is the way to go.”

Carissa

“I've just started jibbing and had a demo on the Distortia. I nailed my first ever backside boardslide first shot. TBT makes it so easy to play around without catching edges all over the place. Buying mine later today. Yeah 4 it baby. x.”

VANESSA MCCARTHY

“Bataleon Snowboard Fun Kink 153cm
Wow I demo-d this board over the weekend and what an amazing fun board this is for a girl. It holds edges with no wash in the back, and also allowed me to pop ollies with ease... unbelievable difference getting air on this board. I couldnt believe how easy, enjoyable and awesome this board was to ride. I own a g$u, a b@&$)(-n and a s-/:;($n. I'm seriously considering buying this board... I was searching for it online and came across this site and just had to give a great review for you guys... its the best most fun board ive ridden yet. Blown away.”

Amo

“I love them. I'm a proud owner of Evil Twin and Airobic. Most of my friends ride Bataleon. We are some kind of sect i guess.”

“I bought a THE JAM 2010 and its an awsome board...
I have been to Val thorens and Les deux alps with it and for those two times i left my 650 euros L&b T@#h D!@k S!@#$s at home....:D
Super cool board, fast, precise, quick and smooth turning and good edge hold:)
Good job bataleon

“Power steering.
Agile.
Revolotionary.

Rode a Demo board today at Crystal Mtn. WA. Robin from Mt. Si. Board and Skate set me up, and wow this is transformational. Robin was super helpful getting me set up, and I bought the demo board after getting a ride. I also rode a F@#$ demo board with rocker-style, and the Tripple base blew it away. I'm an avid carver/free rider, and this board turns on a dime. I can even navigate the bumps with this due to the responsiveness, that I was unable to do on my K# Z$%^&*n. I think you guys have a formula for success here. I feel like this is definitely a revolution in boarding and could definitely accelerate entry level snow boarders to carving level much quicker than with standard boards. I've been riding since the late 90's, buying a new board about every 5 years, and this is the first board that has made any real difference. Great work. I'd be happy to help promote your brand out here in the pacific northwest. It's awesome in the "Cascades Concrete" snow conditions.

Richard Scholl

“Just want to say that everything you said about the TBT was correct. I bought a Kink US Version and it was awesome. It felt twice as fast on the straights and handled edge to edge like nobody's business. Thank you for coming up with the best designed snowboard eva! Riding Bataleon only from now on! Thanks again. Richard Scholl NYC, NY”

Alex vlasto

“Bought a 2011 airobic 155 this winter, and I LOVE IT!!! I used to ride burton, I had a couple of boards; both of which I have sold. The airobic is the softest board, with awesome pop! The TBT is undeniably the best technology breakthrough for snowboarding since the snowboard. Smile, it's snowboarding!”

Rob McVey

“I got an ET Classic 159 this season and I love it!! Road my burton the other day.. Did I mention that I got an ET CLASSIC 159!!! For sale one flat board...after TBT you won't even want to ride flat on rocks... Looking for used TBT for preseason and late spring...
TBT and snow is all I need!!!”

Seth

“TBT is the BEST!!!! I thought I loved snowboarding until I got my bataleon, now I know what it means to love snowboarding! amazing everywhere I have ridden it! Yeah for it!!!”

“So I was at sugar bowl the other day first day back riding in a month on my brand new airobic 154 2012. someone stole it out of the back of the truck before i got a chance to use it. Bummer. but the artist series evil twin is bad to the bone and its got some chick gettin choked on it! I just rode it this weekend in grenade games but it rides really well in pow too. Keep your fluids up and smile, its snowboarding.”

Rich Smith

“Love my evil Twin Classic I had a quiver of snowboards k2 park star ,lib Skate banana, and a rome agent, I sold The all, I only want to ride my evil twin now once you go tbt theres no turning back, This is the way snowboarding should be , FUN”

nico

“tried out the evil twin 11/12 154 on saturday and ordered it the same day. awesome board i love it YEAH FOR IT”

Philipp

“Who is Jack Burton, and why does he made those second class-boards? Went to Kronplatz (Italy) with my Goliath. Just Amazing!! Its the perfect Board if you want to carve on the pists and have fun in the park. The TBT saved me a few bad landings and the pop is super!!! Yeah for it!”

AdstarUK

“Hey guys. . . . . Finally got to use my Goliath in Sauze d'oh, Italy. What can i say. . . Simples. Best feeling ever. One amazing board and its not just the tbt as the pop is awesome. Bataleon is my only board of choice! Cheers guys dont sway from the tbt on ALL your boards.”

Dee

“Just picked up a Fun.Kink US Edition (Rocker! LOL!) and it kills it! Totally not limited only to the park as I was all over the mountain inbetween trees and all over steeps! I love this board! HUUUGE smile on my face at the end of the day! Yea for it! ... now send me some stickers please! ahha..”

Ben Goliath

“Hi Dudes!
Bought a 2011 Goliath wide 161 and I LOVE this piece of Wood...
So Amazing. First uncommon feeling...than my face showed the same smile as on your hoods...now I understand your claim "Smile!" Before I rode a n&*^o t#$m wide (good board) but the goliath floats better, is easier and more relaxed to ride, esp. on "ziehwege" (Hate them!!) only on Powder i hadnt yet the chance to try, but im sure it´ll work as fine as on all other conditions! I BELIEVE!
Dudes, great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

R2D2

“I have written some text about the Bataleon the Jam and in 2 words you can say everything you need to know about the board and the TBT system.... It ROCKS!

You can find the whole text over here, http://www.vout.nl/?p=16”

Euan mclean

“I had this years US edition funk kink but it got stolen last week in Alpe D'huez :( totally awesome board and I'm in love with TBT, gutted I had to hire for the rest of the week. Until I can save money for next seasons ET I'm gonna try bud on an 08/09 ET I've spotted on fleabay, hope the board feels as good!”

Ryan, Banff

“I just started boarding this year. While checking around local ads, I came across an 08 Goliath with the clockwork orange graphic(wicked flick). Anyway been out about 10 times now, and switched up with one of my friends boards for a few runs. it was a ride something or other. anyway I kept catching edges and it just wore me out after a few runs. I am glad to be riding TBT goliath and will be buying a new goliath this year. Thanks Bataleon!”

Le Cornichon Volant

“i bought a BATALEON EVIL TWIN two months ago,
this saturday i went with my new board in french Alps.

First run on the EVIL TWIN = stocked!
after that, every run was so fun!
the TBT makes me so confident,i'm trying new stuffs without the fear to catch edges and hurt me on the ground.

Edges to edges is really fast.
the board is really stable, i was like god on mountain with it!

A lot of pop.
and a great smile on my face all day long!

i think i find THE BOARD!
can wait to buy the 2012 FEELBETTER model for my girlfriend (after this day she really want try TBT), and maybe i'll think to buy the 2012 DISASTER model to complete my quiver.

Thank you BATALEON for your products!
So much fun.
YEAH FOR IT!

NICO

“i will buy the new EVIL TWIN 11/12 in october. i have had an evil twin 08/09 an a goliath 08/09 and i still love it YEAHFORIT!!!”

Klaus

“just checked out the new riot 2012 and it´s sick. the best twin i´ve ever ridden. i own the riot 2008 and it is incredible nice, but the new one is even better. i think everyone out there will be stoked about the line up boards of 2012!”

WesMoTron

“Rode my ET Classic for the first time today up here in Alaska, It was like riding a cloud! Old boards just look like planks of fancy wood next to TBT! Through the fast runs in the woods, hits off kickers, or tucking down slopes, my Bataleon maintained with poise. The buttering is unreal! Im sold, TBT for life, Yeah for it Brah!”

wobble

“I used to ride B%#}+n c^%#]*m and loved the board, but last year I decided I fancied giving the Goliath a go after reading the reviews, so I popped down to my local store and bought one. I took it over to Tignes and it was fantastic, we had deep powder and the board was excellent. After that I took it over to Morzine/Avoriaz where the conditions were icy and the piste compacted hard. Again the Goliath held it's own and it kept me upright on some hard runs.
I'm a convert to this type of board and recommend if you haven't tried it then give it a go, it truely is an all mountain classic.”

Riley King

“my first day, first thought on the evil twin was GODDAMN!!!! Everyday every run is still GODDAMN!!!!”

claudio

“this year i've used for 6 days an old fun.kink 157 08\09 with tbt..i can only say: i love it and i love you for doing TBT!!!! next year i'll get a goliath 160w! if i'll find it..”

Mike H

“After 13 years of riding I was curious enough to buy a Goliath 57 this year. I'd read that it might feel a bit sluggish from edge to edge but frankly that's crap. Just back from 3Valleys where its seen powder, corduroy, icy moguls and kickers and it made mincemeat of the lot. Can't wait to ride it again and would highly recommend TBT to anyone. Good work guys.”

Scoobydude2002

“I used to ride the first gen K# w&^%$n with the rocker in it and I thoght that board was sick. Well two years after owning the board it got stollen off the roof of my car lol. Best part is they stole it by taking my locked roof rack off my car. Well I did some research on boards and was going to get a lib tech or a gnu but then saw a lot of good things about Bataleon. Went to my local store and picked one up and went riding that day. TBT is the best thing that has ever been invented. I was off for a month because of the stollen board and I would of caught an edge a couple of times on my old rocker board but TBT saved my life. I hit a couple of rails but didn't hit too manys since I wanted to get used to the board but I did hit a table top and down box and thing slides like crazy. I was having so much fun I was yelling YEAH FOR IT!! lol So if you buyers don't beleive what Bataleon has to say and still don't beleive what I have to say well your just gonna have to buy one of those corprate boards that you will not be happy with. Thank you for making snowboarding what it is meant to be. FUN!!”

Stefan

“This friday I finally rode my Bataleon Goliath 153 that I bought last year. Let me say that TBT is simply amazing!!! The advantages of camber with none of the disadvantages. The catch-free sensation is beyond belief. Next year i'm surely getting a Disaster 148 and maybe a Undisputed 161. Yeah for it!”

Mikk

“Went and got myself Fun kink Us edition 153. Seriously, what the heck is that witchcraft!? That thing is the best thing i have EVER ridden. It's amazing how fun that board is. Since i hurt my leg pretty bad a few weeks back i thought my season was over, snowboarding just was not fun anymore. Needless to say that your board changed it. YEAH FOR IT!”

Doug

“TBT IS THE BEST THING SINCE EDGES!!
Had a warrantee issue that you guys handled with no hiccups or anything, even sent tracking numbers and the delivery of the new Goliath came in less than a week!!
I was hesitant about riding a shorter board at first, but this 157 wide TEARS everything up!!! park laps are a BREEZE!! Switch feels totally natural!!! edge to edge is fantastic and tbt gives it a CATCH FREE ride!!its so light I hardly feel it hiking and when I strap it on in the wait deep pow we've had, its so easy to lean back, you hardly have to! In the cliffs and trees it whips around with tons of power in the tail and you can totally commit to ANY line!! TBT IS THE BEST THING SINCE EDGES!!!!! EVERYONE NEEDS A BATALEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm definitely getting another Bataleon next season, stoked for the 2011/2012 line!!”

HiTz 780

“so I finally bought a Bataleon Airobic, this board has made me a better rider! Perhaps its just the placebo effect but hot damm this board rides nice. Edge to edge, no worries. I've been working on my switch riding and I would have fallen way more if it wasn't for the TBT. This is my first year in the park so it's given me some confidence in hitting up the most basic rails and table tops. Bataleon TBT ftw!

Extremely grateful,

HiTziLLa”

bart

“love my 2011 goliath!”

tucker aguirre

“I was a shity rider skechy couldn't control my board or speed ever since I switched to bataleon twin. My rideing has completly changed now I'm riping up the mountain harder than most of my friends once u step on to these board ur changed an u kno bataleon is the right board for any type of rideing”

Travis Stoddard

“Stepped like a weapon on an enemy+++...... Neva shralp on any other brand again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Bataleon and TBT.....Jus Sayin!”

Stuart Jones

“Your boy Matt Taylor in NZ got me on a 157 Goliath and im not going back. Just returned for Niseko, Japan, and the TBT killed it in the pow and between the trees in the morning and ate the kickers and the rails in the pm...truth be told the TBT saved my arse more than once, love it, and thank you Matt. Get On Board!”

TBTLover

“2010 Undisputed is king. Sick!!!”

“Just finished my first day with my brand new ET Classic 155. TBT is sick! Got used to it in a very short time and it improved my confidence with tricks immediatly! You guys just found a new life-customer! YEAH FOR IT!”

MRC

“airobic 151, best board... ever!”

harlan

“this is the freakin DEAL. got the 154 artist ed. even though it's twin it will ride everything and anything... just keep it away from your sister... anyway i guess i'm a bataleon man for the rest of my life. you guys RULE”

Delicious

“ET 155 <-- Surprisingly good crud board!”

Courtney Howard

“161 Jam Wide user. Definately fun. Takes a little getting used to at first, but super fun now. Sometimes 50-50's slip off earlier that a regular base if you are not square centered on the rail. I faceplanted so hard trying to butter my old board after getting used to TBT.”

Tom

“Just got back from a beautiful 'Yeah For It!' day today. My Omni 167 just slayed the glades of Jay Peak all damn day. I jacked up my back knee a few weeks ago and had to keep my weight forward, but the Omni refused to sink. Surfing through the pow was so smooth and effortless it felt like I was in a trance. Well, until I had to snap back to reality to quickly zig and zag and then zig-zag through all of the trees. No worries though, I was edge-to-edge in no time. Even the branch that cut my face couldn't wipe the smile off of it. Untouched pow and a Bataleon Omni? It's total Zen. On Steroids. Oh, and did I mention? YEAH FOR IT!”

JL

“Had the best day of the season so far riding on a friend's new Goliath. Was absolutely sold on TBT and in Bataleon until I noticed that the top sheet was laden with nicks and some peeling. I have never seen a board so chewed up from a day of riding before. That said, I would likely still fork over the cash and deal with the repairs to ride one of these bad boys again.”

Ricky

“Just rode my Goliath for the first time at sierra. I gotta say I don't think i will be going back. the TBT is amazing. the edge to edge is effortless so fun and fast. im with Bataleon forever! you need to buy a bataloen!”

Timo T.

“Just tested the new Evil Twin and honestly... I'm absolutely sttoked about TBT =D it's impossible to catch an edge if u don't want to. next ime i will test the Funkink and will get one of them!
thx!”

Julie Attewell

“Just got back from a week in Avoriaz, although a severe lack of snow, my Distortia made up for it!! Unlike any board ive ever riddin, made me fall in love with boarding all over again!!! Loved not catching any egdes and laughed when everyone else fell over!!!!
AWSOME board!!!!!”

FluffyBeanie

“Just got back from 2 weeks riding Marmot Basin with my brand new Evil Twin Classic. Before trying TBT I was the world's most rubbish rider, nervous, jittery and slow. While I am not setting any land speed records, thanks to TBT my confidence has soared! Felt great on the flats, stable and relaxed... My husband has been trying to get me to switch to skiing for years, thanks Bataleon - I now don't need to!”

James

“Bought a 2008 Goliath 164w second-hand and have just got back from riding it all over Val d'Isere. Unbelievable experience and had such a great week of boarding. Will be upgrading to the 2012 model next year f'sho! Thanks Bataleon”

Ad O

“I wanne say thanx for giving me the fun back in snowboarding. I have a goliath its a perfect board. Keep up the good work.

Jason

“I bought my 2011 The Jam 157 and took out to the Porte du Soleil region just last week. Rode it everywhere, and it was effortless. TBT really does work and goes from edge to edge beautifully - and no nasty catchiness at all. Best investment I've made out of all my current gear!”

Emily m.

“I baught my First Bataleon last year and it was the best ride i ever had! sadly that board got damaged but i was able to get it replaced. The Bataleon crew was AWSOME to work with, to get a replacement! they'er the best!”

Jaydoh & Olga

“We LOVE TBT. OK. I got us set up with a Violenza for my lady and a Goliath 164 for myself. It took one day on TBT to fall in love. My Goliath is easily the best snowboard I have ever ridden. Handles anything at speed. Perfect flex, Waist width - Looks are killer. It just makes snowboarding more FUN. That's what it's all about. I found it super easy to spin, butter what have you. I could do more on that board with less effort than my previous ride. Whistler has some pretty big terrain and TBT made it super fun to ride pretty much anything that came our way.

Cheers!”

Tim

“Just ordered an Evil Twin 157.... even ordering is making me stoked :)
Can't wait to ride this puppy!!”

nitro973

“half march i bring my fun kink usa edition to his roots. Hope he like the powder. Bataleon people! Movie is comming end april then i be back in holland mmmmm do you now park city?? i be there first week.
bataleon for ever and a ocz vertex2 hdd”

Sander

“Just came back from Val Thorens. First time out on my new Jam 161 wide. TBT truly delivers what it promises. It's stable at high speeds and easy to change direction.
If you think of buying a new board, get one of these!!! It's awesome to ride and has wicked graphics.”

Jonathan Froggatt

“Ok. I'll tell it like it is. I've had 2 weeks flow on a new shape Evil Twin 154. Previous to Bataleon ive ridden other 'normal' boards. TBT is VERY different to a 'normal' board. It will take a few days to get used to ..BUT.. When you start to chill with the flavour, you'll be styling those carves and bumps like you never have before. It sound like sales patter I know, but TBT has truly for me re-defined snowboarding. Its wicked' 'tings all the way. Snowboarding should be fun and believe.. TBT will put a smile on your face.. sod, flat-base-edge 'you want some shizzle in your life.. its all about flat base-TBT-edge.. Its a new dimension. Its a beautiful ride. I got my girlfriend a 143 Distortia at the same time as my Evil Twin.. She's only been on a snowboard for 1 weeks and she's allready buttering the crap out of the mountain ;-) Sketch out landing like you never have before its all DOPE. Hit the hip-flask with your mates, mix with a couple of strong euro beers and have fun. I truly believe that TBT will open up a whole new back of tricks for the boarders out there. Gonna snap up an 151 aerobic as I want a bit more flex than the evil twin for my net trip that thankfully is very soon. The spirit of the mountain is good. F*cking YEAHFORIT!!!”

Thomas

“placed an order for a 157 Batazion but it was sold out. :( it was recomended i check out the Badaleon MJ edition instead, got it in last week rode it this past weekend.. sick board with lots-o-pop super fun board to ride.. cant wait to put some more days on it... yeah4IT, TBT rules”

Daniele

“last sunday i tried for the first time my new shining fun.kink and it rocks dudes! the triple base is the best for riding, my older (other brand) boards sucks! thank you Bataleon i will never leave you! :-) smile it's snowboarding!”

Edwin Scorretti

“This year, I decided to pass to the new airobic that I actually really appreciate it! It has a got pop in Parks and bends well on rails. In the beginning, when you didn't use the TBT I got the sensation as the boards isn't very stable, but when you get used to it, you find it a very special board.
Thanks Bataleon, I love it! :)

liz

“p.s can you please send a demo team to revelstoke!?! would be a super good time. we finally have a dealer but they dont have much selection...”

liz

“thank you for bringing back the disclaimer. really it's what sold me on trying your boards all those many years ago! still rockin' bataleon enemy and yah for camber!”

JayP

“Hi @all,
I´ve test my bataleon fun kink US Edition last week in Hoch-Ybrig and I won´t have another board it´s so amazing! The Fun kink rooooooox! I can just say I will never ride an another board!

YEAH FOR IT!”

Tom

“My Bataleon 09/10 Goliath is the best board ive ever ridden. Used to have B)$^&*s back in the day and they suck so much. My friends all have L@#$s and I just laugh at them when they go on about their fruit shaped boards. After riding TBT you will never go back. Felt weird when I started- kinda like surfing. But in a very good way. Snowboarding is much more fun now.”

Deeman

“Rockin the Fun Kink - US edition and it kicks ass! Best board on the market and freakin awesome!!!”

LukyKWP

“Finally the dream came true, I investigated the whole year, I gathered the money and I bought the best snowboard in the world ... I love my Bataleon FUN.KINK:)...yeah for it!!!”

jon perry

“shit is tight guys! keep it coming. love the videos love the boards when are you guys coming to mt.hood if ever????

A. K.

“My Airobics 159 is Geat! Mass of pop and safe landings in fast rotation jumps, easy to hit the park. Yeah 4 It, TBT rules !”

Chris M

“Rode my first tbt (airobic) as from 28th and loved it from the very first run... didnt believe 3° can make such a difference. got a good amount of pop and good buttering without being afraid of edge catching. Just made me more confident. Laid down my first BS 360s and even one 540 with it! I just love it, won't ever buy anything else but bataleon. you guys should really start to create bindings as good as ur boards!!
YEAH FOR IT!”

Greg

“Now guys, let's be nice to Rodriegez...he probably didn't have any snow. Still, though, I'm pretty sure TBT works on everything but granite. It definitely worked on Rodriegez' mom.”

pizolboarder

“i`ve got a 08/09 goliath. it`s three years old an still great thank you bataleon
and mr. rodriegez you suck”

Ron Rodriegez

“This board sucks.”

ced.rec

“Hello bataleon friends ,

I come from france , I had my first board this x mas and it" s a Bataleon fun kink 157 2010 .
I love this board . We had 2 days of riding for the first time of the season 2010/2011.
i didn't have the opportunity to try JIB's (i'm not a very good rider) but it was really easy to take it on hand .It" s really a funny board , very light and flexible , the shape is very good to take of the slopes .On puff it"s harder but not impossible .
I'm really excited about going back !!
Have a ride !! Have a smile !!

Sam(antha)

“ordered my airobic 147 and got it two dayzz later! mashed the park, freaked out over TBT and went stupid dumb dumb all over the mountain. I BELEIVE!!!”

Ethan

“just ordered my first bataleon board. cant wait to try it out, i have hear a shit load of good things about tbt and cant wait to go riding, i am getting the evil twin so hopefully give back some more postive stuff after i take it for a ride”

Szymon

“fuc*ing amaizing!;D”

Nils R.

“Got my first TBT Board this year. After riding 8 years on flat boards it first felt loose and a bit strange! But after a morning of riding i got used to it and it really works. Carving and buttering goes perfectly without catching edges..
Riding the park went good too, but tail or nose grind/pressing feels different to normal flat boards..it feels better cause you're shure no egde will catch the box!!!
TBT works perfect in slushy, icy and park sourroundings! Thanks Bataleon for this sick tech!! YEAH FOR IT :)))
I bought the Evil Twin New Shape 154 in Mayrhofen (Zillertal) and if you're not shure if TBT works you often can rent a TBT Test board at your local bataleon dealer! But be warned..if you try it, you'll get adiccted and never will get anything else!!!

YEAH FOR IT!!!”

adam

“got last years project green for 2 hundo... best deal ever, snappy response, just stiff enough to be faster than chris johnson and that setback makes surfing pow mmm mmm good. nice compliment to the evil twin.”

Laura C

“I bought my first Bataleon this season, I've been riding for a long time and I finally found my match. We're soulmates! I think I wanna marry it! So responsive, and stable. It's truly like no other. Thanks team! Keep up the rad work <3”

GREEDY-GOLIATH

“superyeah for it!
bataleon goliath is THE snowboard!!
TBT works great and it's the funniest board ever EVER tried!
a stupid smile on my face all day long while riding my bata!!
YOUU ROCK!”

Worm

“Shredding the 59 Omni this year...gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when I think about it..Northstar wud up!!!!”

Cheezsandwhiches

“Trying out my Evil Twin Classic tomorrow. Can't wait to poo my pants. YEAH FOR IT!”

Pete

“@speez

dude.. what are you trying to say here... you like it playfull and the pop but you want it softer, while at same time you think its shaky at high speed.. then it needs to press more and increase stability on high speed by doing what? making it softer? Don't thnk that can be combined bro.

I love my ET. It has it all.. power, flex, foregiveness and great all mountain freestyle abilities..

Derek Robitaille

“Well let's just say that Bataleon makes the best snowboards ever!!!! I recently purchased the 2011 Airobic 147cm and finally got to ride it tonight at Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC. It was so easy to ride and flexes really easy and gives you so much more air and the board overall was really really really fast. I let my friend try it out and he had a blast over it and was pretty much jizzing in his snowpants. He wanted to ride it the rest of the night and is now begging to get one for a Christmas gift. Thanks for making the best snowboards on earth!!!!”

speez

“TBT is pretty sick tech..im a fresh owner of 2011 fun.kink 149 and its very playful, responsive with a loaded pop..BUT its not that stable as u might think! in high speed its shakin because of too narrow mid base flat..as well as not as good stability on rails..it could be also lil bit softer because of presses..well u can make it press fo sho..but dont wanna see other boards if this one is nearly most soft! ..so hope u will help this..love bataleon for that forgiving feel..but there is always something to improve! peace.one love”

Tiffany

“Dear Bataleon,
Me again! My fun.kink is amazing!!! It's perfect in the powder and pop is super fun, thanks again!!!

Alex Garcia

“Ok, so here's my story. I was able to take my Goliath 157 out on Thanksgiving up in norcal when they got that 8 foot dump. No park riding, just pow. It was sketchy. I wasn't used to it. I didn't know if I made the right choice. I was scared! Then, this past weekend I FINALLY made it out to big bear and KILLED it. A solid two day binge of park riding. It felt like last season never ended! First try, front 7's, front 9's and finally, after being frustrated all last season, some corked 5's! TBT, it's no joke! I'm stoked on the season and glad this Godsend of a board is mine. YEAHFORIT!!!”

Adam Castanier

“So I was finnaly able to get out on my Evil Twin. From the first time trying to strap in and it being very loose under foot I thought I would have problems with it being to loose like some of the reverse cambers on the market, but when I got up the lift and took my first ever run on TBT, I know that from that moment on I would Yeah for it. It gripped when I wanted it to and floated when I didn't want the grip. Tbt was like having a board that knew what I wanted it to do, the perfect all around mind reading board. If there was any downfall of riding Tbt it is that not everyone rides it, and I think if they did we may have world peace.”

Koen

“WOW!!! Went for a test ride yesterday with my new evil twin.. Normally I ride a s&$?! c@&). well, I just sold it. The evil twin is an insane board and the tbt tech realy makes it no effort catching edges, landings, curves...
I LOVE MY BATALEON!!
Thanx !!”

Giova

“Just back from Folgarida with my new Goliath 157! Great board! Had fun both in powder and making tricks my friends! I will test it soon in the Madonna di Campiglio's snowpark. Thx!”

Andrew F.

“I showed my friend Bataleon one day and he flipped the hell out, he was able to get one before I did but thats cool. He got the Airobic 147 and says it is the best thing hes ever ridden. I want to get the FunKink but dont have the money right now. Anyways I believe in the power of TBT that someday soon "The God" (Mr.B) will grant me with the gift of TBT. TBT-B with you;)”

Tiffany

“Dear Bataleon,

I took out my new Distoria for a rip for the first time this season in Fernie BC, and it was amazing! I've tried different boards, different lengths and flexes, and I have never felt so comfortable shredding on a brand new board...ever. The TBT made everything feel so effortless and fun! I can't wait to try my fun.kink next!

Thanks for the good times!”

harlan

“just ordered a 154 artist edition. i cannot wait to get this board. with so much hype about tbt it obviously couldn't be bad. i'll be the only one of my friends having fun this season i suppose:)”

Sarah W

“WOW! Just ridden my brand new Evil Twin 154 on the hills behind my house in whyteleafe, Surrey UK..... the snows up to my knees.... had so much fun....love my new board.... thank you!”

David Brighton

“It works! I was on the Evil Twin in Flumserberg and I had a full powder day with no problems apart from I don't lift my nose up enough! I was faster than my friend on a Reverse all day! Big shout out to the SnowboardflohMarkt in Zurich! Thanks guys,You've got me getting waaaaaay better!”

brutto_insetto

“Hej! Just wanted to share my impression on Bataleon snowboards!
I've bought (after a whole summer spent looking for a new board to buy) the Evil Twin New 154 light blue. Yesterday I finally got a chance to try it in Madonna di Campiglio, weather conditions were quite horrible, with snow storming in my face almost the whole time, as well as quite strong wind and limited visibility. Aside my bad shape, I really felt the board doing all the buttering almost by herself, I never had to worry about the edges in those nose and tail presses when going from edge to edge. Furthermore the board had a very nice pop and REALLY went up in the pow by herself, even though it were a twin tip.
That aside this baby is at home in the park, been throwing 180 in and out on boxes with real ease, never worryin about catching an edge, and in underotated landings is it very forgiving as well! (saved my ass a couple of times there!)
Definitely a fun board to ride, forgiving and allowing quite a lot of showing off on the crowded slopes! (not to mention that it also improved both my riding switch and confidence in trying tricks, it was just like thinking about things and suddently I could do them!)
One downside? A little stiff, and of course, that I had to go home at the end of the day! Had I the chance, I'd still be there riding!
Can't wait till next week!!!!!!
Love the graphics by the way. And yes, I am in love with this board, thanks Bataleon!
Yeah for it!!”

Big c

“It's true!! It's true!! Believe the hype if your not on a bataleon rockin TBT you are lost!!!! I've been riding bananas for past two seasons until I tried TBT it does everything bataleon claims and is the most fun I have ever had on snow !!! Needless to say m@##$% sold , bataleons stocked!! If u are considering a bataleon not only will u not be disappointed u will be the happiest person alive!!! Smile it's snowboarding!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!”

Jason

“Demoed a Goliath, Omni, and another brand's board yesterday. Both Bataleons were great fun and very easy to ride - after 5 mins I was riding better and more confidently than after 5 weeks on my previous board!

The other brand I tried was also good to ride, but much less relaxing. You really can feel the benefit of TBT on the very first run!

“A few years back a couple of local reps by the names of Daniel Peterson and Ryan Enfield let me borrow a 155 Riot. Best board i ever rode. I was so stoked about Bataleon i bought Daniel's used Evil Twin 159. Never had to buy another pow stick or park stick. Then last years airobic came out. Fell in love all over agian. Super flexy, and still able to ride pow on a 155! impresive for a bigger guy. So thanks Bataleon! Keep up the TBT. Nothin else like it.”

Mike N.

“About Michael Todd's comment: If you are worthless snowboarder it's not boards fault!Over 15.000 people that have a Bataleon board and are happy with it can be wrong because one worthless gay can’t use TBT!!!”

Mario G

“I saw Michael Todd's comment earlier today and I've been disappointed... :) I recommend no one to belive taht s#!t until trying the TBT.
I still hate you guys for specific business reasons, but the feeling I have when riding your boards is just GREEEEAAAAAT!!!”

Michael Todd

“I bought a Goliath last season and I've been disappointed. I wouldn't recommend Bataleon boards to my mates.”

“My favorite part about TBT is how smooth, fast, and responsive the board feels when going rail to rail. Snow transforms into clouds, and I feel like I'm Sky surfing my way back to earth.

“TbT is the only way to sshhhhhrrreeeeeddd!! i have been riding bataleon boards they first started i think.?! first bataleon board i ever tried, was a prototype called HITURN, heavy board, but good, then i had the first enemy and the first hero board. hero was awsome, i still got it, and its awsome to ride! then i got the ewil twin, also awsomwe, had a friend who work with bataleon, so i got a little hook up, that was when i feel in love. the goliath! aaaahhhhhh maaaan, that board is the shit, funnies board ever made. i had that board for 2 years before i bought the fun.kink. fun kink and the goliath is the perfect snowboards for me, super soft, mad flex, and ofc, TBT! as long as i got that, i dont need a super good park, or tons of pow, all i need is a hill with snow, and my bataleon. keeps me so stoked on snowboarding!! Ricky Hanger

“Hi all, I have been riding a Bataleon TBT for the last few years and Its definitely the best board iv ridden, it a shame rental shops dont hire out these boards so more people could see how much difference the TBT makes.
Cheers Bataleon, You've got me hook on TBT

Paul WM

“Just picked up my 2011 Jam, just love that TBT thing. I think for me this sums up the difference between TBT and flat boards. Flat boards are like cars they move on 4 points like a car. No matter how flash they are they all handle very similar and tun in the same way. TBT rides more like a motorbike the weight is in the centre and you can flick it edge to edge real quick, lead it over hard and it just bites. The Jam is so responsive the more you push it the better the ride. I find myself hitting every thing faster and harder just coz I love the pop :)”

xDanx

“yo dudes, propz to the new site;)
but where are the great WALLPAPERS???
plz get some on ur site!

cheers, daniel”

Grant Hopper

“I have never ridden anything like it, my first ever board was a &#&t0n C*nd$m which apparantly doesn't catch edges, thats not the case, i sprained my wrist because it did catch a wrist, luckily the graphic started peeling and i sent it back to &#&t0n and they have me a store credit, after talking to one of Bataleon's riders Matty, he gave me a Bataleon demo, and i was blown away. I only had 2 runs on it and thats all it took to buy. I bought a Bataleon 153 Fun Kink, it is the most playful fun board I have ever ridden, you get amazing pop, you CAN'T catch an edge, its really flexible and is super light. I have never ridden a board that will actually bounce ur board off an edge.
For me there is no other company in the way of boards,I love my Bataleon Fun Kink and will never ride another brand. Thanks Bataleon
Yea For it! :)”

Onno

“Damn, been riding the good stuff for a couple of years now, last week I had to rent a board (no tbt) and man I missed my goliath! Waiting for the winter now, so I can ride again. YEAH for that!”

Rydog

“TBT is definitely a love or hate thing.I really, really wanted to like TBT because the theory surrounding it makes perfect sense and it DOES carve like a dream! However, I'm just not feeling it for freestyle.I don't like not being able to feel my edges underfoot on snow/boxes/rails/run-ins, guess I've just been ridin good old flat boards too long.I would recommend testing one out to see if it's right for you before you buy.”

Al Kingsbury

“Feel like I've won a prize being one of 200 to own the batazion. Only thing that could replace my funkink.
Blessed the TbT stable.
Jah bless mr b”

Thomas van den Hoff

“About two weeks before leaving for my first snowboarding holiday of last season a friend of mine showed me the TBT-clip on youtube.
Stunned and impressed I started looking for stores that sold Bataleon boards. After some serious thinking (i had recently purchased a new board already) I descided to go with my gut-feeling and buy a Omni 163.

In Sölden Austria I strapped on and shredded down hill like on an auto-pilot mode. Absolutely phenomenal. I've been snowboarding for 12 years now, tried several boards and this omni 163 beats all by far!

In my second boarding week I took my board to the parks in Fiss, Austria and this is where difference was unmistakebly showing. Sticking jumps, getting more air all the benefits as presented in the youtube clip are absolutely true.

My TBT Omni 163 is here to stay and I can't see me riding anything else than TBT from now on.

Yeah for it! ;-)”

Nick

“Would never ride anything but Bataleon now. I'm an intermediate, but snowboarding always seemed harder work than skating used to be. Soon as I got me a 157W Goliath it was just like skating bowls back in the 80s - no worries about edges catching, just focus on the next move. As a beginner to kickers and rails etc it made such a difference to be able to just think where you wanted to go and hit it straight, plus not worry about slightly sketchy landings knowing I could stick it and ride out clean. Knowing this means you soon actually start riding clean too. Had to sell my Goliath unfortunately but now got a 10/11 Evil Twin on order!”

“After a few years trying out lots of different boards, I was unable to find anything I truly felt comfortable on and started to wonder if I should learn to ski. That changed when I picked up a used 09 Goliath and headed off to Tignes for the week. So forgiving, goes exactly where you want without thinking, very quick edge to edge, great float in powder, no chance of catching an edge on anything... I'm completely sold. I have rediscovered my snowboarding mojo. Thanks Bataleon!”

goetz

“ride an mj 157 and i can tell it's the hot shit.totally lucky.in 25 years of experience i've never ridden something cool like that.props!”

Rick Deans

“Well the season is starting to draw to a close even here in Scotland which has had a phenomenal snowdrop this year and so it's time to take a break and give some advice... I started riding a number of years ago and have been lucky enough to try and ride loads of boards, some great boards, some expensive boards and some phenomenally good boards even from other companies. That said when I first started riding I wanted a fun flexible freestyle focussed board that I could use everywhere I tried Burton, Rome, Salomon to name a few then eventually after selling all these others stumbled across the green and black evil twin (still own and ride)this changed my focus away from the other "major" brands as the TBT made me actually smile and laugh whilst riding no matter what the conditions. I have ridden that board on ice and glaciers, back country and deep powder and it does everything amazingly, though as it was designed for freestyle, jibbing and buttering that's what it does the best. For this season I've been lucky enough to get hold of an Enemy which is also simply incredible and beats the s##t out of the equivalent super-lights and vapors of the other brands (tried those as well), it is rapidly fast (keep it waxed well!) and simply beats any other piste and all mountain board out there. Finally this brings me onto my recent birthday present an undisputed which I am using as my powder board or where the conditions are anything other than ideal... I simply do not have the words on how good this monster is as long as you have the ability to do it justice and the balls to believe that the edges will hold at that speed on those inclines. I hope that my review is inspiring enough to get a few more of you riders buying and riding bataleon? Remember having fun and pushing your own limits is what snow-boardings about. You don't have to be the best, just the best you can be and these boards will allow you to do this. Get in touch if you want me to give you some info on any of these boards. I must try not to fall in love with any more Bataleons next season!”

Peter Wolf

“Borrowed a Bateleon Testboard from the local board shop. Went to Austria last week to see what the fuzz was about concerning Triple Base Technology. Was it as good as Bataleon claims it to be and could it really beat my B&^^%n C(*(&m board?

Well, let´s just say I´m a Bataleon fan by now. Smoooth and (very)fast turns,Excellent in the off piste and in the park. Perfect harmony between me and the board...and that was just a testboard! Definitely going to buy a Bataleon next season. Cannot wait until season starts again.”

gavin

“I have just returned from a weeks in Austria with my new 153 Goliath. I can only ride once a year and have been looking for a new board that can do it all and push me onto new things. I was blessed with dump’s of fresh snow and explored the mountain in ways I had only previously dreamt of, driven by confidence and control that TBT gives you. Don’t believe the hype, try it yourself and you will understand.”

Milhinhos

“In 2008 I rented a Goliath at an amazing local ski shop in Les Deux Alps. I really loved the board, so this year I have bought a 2010 Goliath and took it to 3 Vallees. Well, for someone that snowboards 1 week per year, hitting the park, bomb downhill every type of run and float in miles of offpiste fields (first powder ever!), I only have to thank God there is Bataleon! TBT is the Maradona of Snowboard!! Move your ass from the couch and GET ONE! NOW!!!”

Toni

“If you're happy and you love it say forward, Batazion rulez the nation !! Peaz”

“this year i bought a funkink, it was my first bataleon and it has been the best board ive ever owned! TBT has helped me improve so much this year and now its the only brand of board ill ride. gettin a riot forshure next year. TBT 4 LIFE”

Johan Nilsson

“Its the second season im riding the Goliath, I love it. Im getting a Fun.Kink for next season. Gah, such a long wait. You need to post some videos where someone is riding the 10/11 Fun.Kink! I want to see it in action! =)”

“Beginners seek advice from riders with experience. But sometimes experienced riders may be blinded by their own skill level to make a great beginner board suggestion. I am currently a beginner, and let me just say that I feel your pain, n00bs. So here's a piece of advice to beginners, from a beginner: Get a Bataleon board. I have ridden a flat board several times and just switched to a Goliath and took it for a spin twice already. What a difference! Even as a beginner, who isn't supposed to know the difference between boards (so I was told), I noticed how much faster this board is, and best of all FAR LESS EDGE CATCHING. Both straight lining and carving is a lot smoother and a lot more forgiving. It really creates a better learning environment than a flat board. So forget cheap rentals or $100 crap sticks at your local sport shops. Get a Bataleon with TBT and you will keep it for a while, both to learn on and go hard on. Even though I'm a beginner now, I don't see myself growing out of this board even as I improve my riding. I love my board. I love TBT. YEAH 4 IT!”

“ive just recieved this years airobic,
i have been mourning the death of my evil twin (or mortal wounding due to a service by snow and rock uk)
it was a board which has given me the confidence to hit the piste/off piste alike, hard and confidence to start doing small jumps and stuff, grinds are easy,
im normally a free rider,
thanks to bataleon ive decided to hit the park this year!
Thanks for all the good work!”

“Love the technology! Only problem is your smallest board (143) is still slightly big for me. Is bataleon going to come out with a slightly smaller size? maybe a 137 or 136 or something?”

George

“I like it real good!”

youbet

“I've been riding a Jam 161W for the last two years and for the life of me can't understand why this isn't the only board available. I have season pass in the UP of MI Indian Head Mountain and use it every weekend. 180" fresh stuff this year so far. This board does it all, from jumping, woods, powder, groomed, lunch and back to jumping.
Tossed it in to get waxed last week and the tech's have never seen one. Hope this changes.
TBT For the long run.”

Paul

“I got a enemy 161 last week and am amazed at the tbt! It is a rocket ship and is very stable at speed. I just ordered the airobic and can't wait for that to get here tomorrow, so I can have both ends of the flex spectrum! Yeah for it!”

Bennnnnnnnnnn

“TBT... what can't I say about TBT! It makes for one of the best boards I have ever ridden. I have owned B****n boards for over a dozen years. Some kits costing as much as 2 grand. However, this year was different. A new shop opened up in my city, selling brands that no one else carries... Bataleon, being one of them. So I picked myself up a 155 ET artist edition and WOW!!!! took a day to really get used to it after a decade of flat base riding. The thing rips like a bat out of hell... the edge transition is lightning quick... you wished every other board rode this good after floating down a pow line. oh yeah, it butters like the dirty offspring of two spoons and a hunk of plywood's drunken sex romp. But seriously, everything Bataleon claims it does, IT DOES. Just be prepared to wax more often as edge burn is a daily occurance, maybe from going so fast :P YEAH4IT”

Vipe

“tbt isn't better than sex but I'm fucking sure tbt gets the second place on the list of the greatest things in life”

TBT Believer!!!

“Preface: I am an ok park rider & intermediate-advanced all mountain rider. I am not a professional reviewer, but I thought I would share this anyway.

I currently have the green and black 07-08 Evil Twin 159/Union setup that I have ridden for 3 years. It is awesome and I love the board. The 59 is a little long for me, so Im sizing down for next year.

I had never ridden a rocker type board before today and wanted to check out first hand what all the BS is about. Here is my review of Mervin BTX vs Burton Vrocker vs Burton Camber vs TBT.

Today I rode a 57 Lib TRS BTX, 57 Burton X8 with v-rocker, and 58 Easy Livin (cambered version); 2 weeks ago I did a Bataleon Airobic 155 demo. I wanted to demo an Easy Livin Flyin V but I couldnt find one anywhere.

The Lib was fun. Poppy, easy to butter, a little unstable at speed though. Pop was great and the BTX was very pronounced. Also, the WW was too narrow for me. Pass...

The X8 Vrocker was extremely fun but very very soft. A little too soft for me I think. Softer than the Airobic for sure which is very flexy. A bad ass Burton Pro named Stefan Maurer pushes this thing around "like wo" in the pirates film Jolly Roger. Chorlton is a "pirate", so all you Bataleon fans should watch it for his footy anyway...

The Burton 58 Easy Livin was my least favorite of all these. Good pop, stiff tail, twin shape, good response to binding movement, but felt heavy. I wanted to hit a couple of the med-to-big jump lines today, but the damn visibility was like 10 feet and it just wasn't safe. It actually felt quite a bit heavier than the X8 and the Lib. Maybe due to the size, maybe b/c I was getting tired. I really wanted to demo a Flyin V version of this board to compare, but they are elusive I guess.

After this demo day,I will never go back to a regular flat based board ever again!!! I am leaning toward a 2011 Bataleon Airobic 55 (great work Bataleon graphic's department)/Union Contact kit for next year. The 55 Airobic is a PERFECT park board IMO. For SoCal mtns, it is all I could ever ask for. I will prob also get a Riot for when I am ready to step it up a notch...

I was concerned about the Airobic base speed wise, but I was flying past other riders all day. I loved the weight, flex, and playfulness. The Airobic was "jibaliscious" and "buttertastic" (not my words, but true nonetheless). If you have not tried a Bataleon, go find one and do it. TBT is a totally different feel vs all other flat based boards. I actually saw a kid with the 2011 Artist Edition (must be a team rider I guess) who was killing it at Bear Mtn... For all those haters out there, dont open your mouth if you have never ridden a Bataleon. GO FIND ONE TO RIDE AND YOU WILL BE A CONVERT!!!

Anyway, these were my thoughts from today. Thought Id share...

“Its snowing heavily here in Livigno, Italy. Free day tomorrow OH WHAT JOY. Will be snowboarding on my new ET all day in fresh powder, just cant wait.”

Alex Zartman

“I bought a 2009 Goliath 161. I have used it now for 7 days in Utah, Colorado and Vermont. All I can say is this is the fastest, best handling board I have ever ridden. It turns super fast, it rides even faster...perfect for those long flats when traversing the mountains on the cat tracks. I used all temp rub on wax after every session. This board seems bullet proof. I plan on sticking with TBT for a long time coming. Yeah for it!”

kevdog

“TBT is like Christopher Columbus. Before him, people actually thought flat was for real. Yeah for it, for real, yo.”

kris hawkins

“Bataleon is awesome, i have been demoing the riot 151 last years model. i ride on the northstar snowboard team, thanks for sending them to Brandon and Ryan for us to use them. tbt rocks”

CaseyZ

“Just came back from a week high up in the Alps on my Jam 164W....wooooaaaah what a board for flying down pistes stable and in control, driving the board through the turns and sailing through deep powder!! Yeah 4 it!!”

Smile Contest Winner

“I got the Goliath 157 wide and I would have to say so far it is sick. I live in the midwest and it has been super icy lately and a problem I have had with every other board i owned was washing out alot but this board just grabs the ice love it... Spins are easier and never catch and edge. So far I would say overall this board is great and tbt rocks lets hope when I get in some other conditions it performs just as well. my only complaint so far would be the base gets dry really fast but just have to wax a little more then usual no big deal.”

Kraven Moorehead

“bought a Jam 161w with out demo'ing first, thought i had made a big mistake when i rode it for the first 200yards... then it happened. pretty sure i'm batchitcrazy for bataleon for life now.
Also, i didnt really need a 'wide' board, but i cant tell at all that this is the widest board i've ever ridden. tbt cures what ails ya”

Wires

“Saw the whole thing, dude. First you were all like "whoa", and we were like "whoa", and you were like "whoaaaaaaaa..."

andreas

“yeah guys. bought last week the fun kink 153. its a great plesure to ride these fucking board. easy turns and bomb down the hill. thx bataleon”

David

“wow, just used my goliath today and tbt is legit. no edge catches and the confidence it gives you WILL make you a better rider, much better”

Darius

“TBT on my 161 Jam is great. I'm a beginner and turning is way easier. This definitely makes snowboarding more fun. Thanks Bataleon!!”

ryan

“TBT is some real shit! having never rode on a bataleon i copped and rode my 153 goliath and it ripped every part of the mountain i took it on. truly an all mountain board. and DEFINITELY a new repeat customer”

Cameron Gordon

“Dear Bataleon,

TBT just doesn't make sense...
Like a futuristic vessel that can read my mind

=) YEAH4!T”

Daniel

“Hi people! I just took my Omni for a spin what a board AWSOME!
Havent seen so much reviews about my Omni so i wanted to give som positiv feedback great fucki´n board!!”

Schmidt

“I tried my 157w Goliath yesterday and im sooooo stoked!!! TBT is Worldchanging.. it gives so much confidence in doing anything.. even Powder was soooo easy (im 190cm and 85kg). TBT helps landing spins and sketchy landings.

Believe what the peoples saying on this site.. cause its TRUE!!!

Bataleon YEAH FOR IT!!! Customer FOREVER!”

Nico

Nico”

Federico

“I'm a beginner however I did try some boards every time I was renting them. I even tried some kind of reverse camber and I must say that with the Goliath 2010 that I bought I felt more in control than with the reverse rocker but still enjoying the same sense of "freedom". The best from the 2 worlds. Good job.”

Stef

“Bought a goliath, the board is simply INSANE, I love how it pops, and I never cought edge!

The new Batazion looks insane btw!
send me one...
Yeah for it!”

Jan

“tbt is awesome on boxes and ledges! first try ever front tail to frontboard!”

Rob

“Ok. So I never had a snowboard of my own. I otok the plunge and after years of wanting - i bought a bataleon. Let me tell you the Goliath 2010 is ridiculously AWESOME.....Took it to Espace Killy and did i rip it up?? YES...did i ever catch an edge, no, did i ride on the flat like a surfer - hell yes. riding was a joy, it popped, it rode fast. it is and was beautiful. it has a few scratches on the top surface, but by god i am the happiest snowboarder alive. Thank you Bataleon”

kary

“first try ever nollie bs lipslide on rail stomped, new ET is insane. cheers guys”

Schmidt

“Bought a 157w Goliath 2010 and a 164 Goliath 2009.. Stoked to try them and try TBT :-)

Feedback will follow for sure!

“I started using the 157 Goliath at the beginning of the 09-10 season and Im blown AWAY. I have never had a smoother ride in my life.I have been using Ride and Burton and I am likely to NEVER GO BACK. I have taken this board all over from Whistler/Blackcomb to Kirk Wood. The TBT technology is unlike anything out there. I LOVE IT. Im currently waiting for my 155 Riot to come. SO pumped.”

“Tried a TBT Twin 151 test board last week in Austria. I am totally convinced!! YEAH FOR IT! Need to by me an ET 151! Popping, ramps, 360's, carving, powder...everything went smooth as hell!
From now on, I won't strap on fake shit anymore!”

Ben

“Just bought a Goliath cant wait to test it this weekend, Actually couldnt sleep the day I bought it!”

Chellimus

“Tried an Evil Twil last year. After 1 slope I knew I URGENTLY had to replace my Burton Custom with a Bataleon. It's totally amazing how much grip you have on icy slopes. Bought a Jam and it's totally awesome. I'm so much more relaxed on my board now.”

Kiwi

“Shit man, is that true about Elan making most boards? I once heard the same thing about Wild Duck??? Who knows??
Totally agree that Bataleon quality is as good as it gets, edges dont just explode, C'mon man! P.S. Riot 159, best deck in the fucking world, end of story.”

Gabe R.

“hey just saying im wayy better now thanks to the confidence TBT has instilled in me
YEAH FOR IT MOTHAAA FCKAAAAA

btw... what happened to nick visconti? too much sex drugs and rock&roll for you guys?

lars

“I'm definitely not the world's best rider ... but maybe that's what the board excuses - it all seems so much easier and more fun!!! getting ready for my next tbt board (goliath 153) - can't wait. try it out & judge for yourself”

Manuel

“I work in a shops in Spain and if a customer comes back with a damage like that we tell him " no way " that is warranty. Sometime they get angry but not 1 company we work with will replace that boards.”

Kenny Powers

“I was just reading over some Bataleon feedback and came across the dipshit who ruined his board on a rail and was trying to say it was the quality of the board. Now I'm no expert - I only own one of the biggest independent snowboard shops in Canada and peed on Dave Cashen's foot once, so needless to say my experience and knowledge is obviously extremely limited - but I'll throw my 2 cents in anyway. It is IMPOSSIBLE to blow out an edge like that by just riding around. Sweet blond haired almost Swedish looking baby Jesus... are you goddam retarded? Please do yourself a favour: go by a piece of shit like a Burton or Forum or Rome and join the rest of the whinny bitches that buy crap like that and make insane comments about how their boards suck when they get a chip (boo fuckin hoo) or case it on a rail and break it in half. At least next time you break your board don't post photo evidence and then claim it was "the quality". Bush league man... totally bush league. Bataleon quality is as good as it gets, and unlike most other snowboards, it isn't just an Elan with a different graphic on it. Wait - you did know that Elan, the super fantastic SKI COMPANY makes most of the snowboards out there right?? Idiot.”

Billy

“I'v had a 09 fun kink for a year.. And I didn't hold back on it. And I have hardly any damage. my only porblem was....... it got stolen out side the hotel =(

anyway I have a new fun kink USA coming

CAN'T WATE!!”

Jaksen

“Any board will eventually get damaged when jibbing urban features/steel rails...or you just smashed it up because you're a mole from another company - Busted! j/k, but I'm sure you had more fun with TBT doing whatever you did.”

BA

“i have fallen in love with the tbt! Being a midwest rider you gotta have a nice flexy board with a lot of pop! It took a little to get used to, but now its everything i could of ever want in a shred stick! Your guy's boards won me over! I choose my Airobic to ride over my Burton UNINC anyday! And orsgirgir. thats impact from a rail or something anyboard will do that..”

orsgjrgjr

“yeah a rock, great quality if a rock cracked an edge like that. Too bad I live in the Midwest and there isn't a single rock on the mountain. I understand your warranty policies but your boards just don't hold up.”

BS

“@orsgjrgjr I have been selling bataleon for 3 seasons now and I must say they are solid boards the warranty issues are not more than other brands I would say maybe even less. Your edge cracking is obviously the result of hitting some serious rocks that's never a warranty so I think you are over reacting here...”

SF

“Yeah for it!”

Ben R

“Rode my new board(the jam) for the first time yesterday in montana. It was seriously the most fun ive ever had snowboarding. At the end of the day i made both my friends try it out just so they could understand what i was raving about. They both loved it and said next time they buy boards it will be bataleon.”

j

“I'm riding bataleon boards for 3 years. Evil Twin and Airobic. I tested different board with rockershape and other "innovations". There is no "innovation" which has only positive effects in all conditions! TBT rocks.”

Ollie

“Floats from edge to edge, light, poppy and all round fantastic. TBT is it!”

Rob

“Bataleon has been featured in the 'Innovation Product' section of the BBC Ski Sunday Snow (check out on the iPlayer). Looks like words getting around!”

adam

“tbt is it! got 100 times better in one day on this board at mt bachelor, youll switch easier, butter better, and get more chicks. parra x evil twin best board ive ridden”

“I rented the bataleon test board for one day, FUCK MAN, it was great! never snowboarding felt so good, it was like flying over the snow. I never want a normal flat board or reverse camber shit anymore, tbt is fucking epic. Yeah I'm serious, tbt is way better than sex.

“I just got and test my 159' Riot!
Excellent riding in Parks and pow, litle stify in rails the best in ground tricks! No more flat boards for me!!! TBT all the way to the and!!!”

C.Lyd

“my friend was demoing a arbor for 5 straight days saying he loved it and was about to make a purchase, i shook my head and said "dude, you gotta try my bataleon (funkink USA)"

i switch my bindings with his and let him play around. after ONE run he hates me. not because he hates the board, but because he has to tell the arbor dudes that he changed his mind and is getting a bataleon instead.

YEAH 4 IT!”

Francis

“147 Airobic floats like a butterfly stings like a bee.”

“My FUN KINK ROCK'S!!!

11 days till i go away =)”

Josh

“My Fun.Kink kicks ass”

Andy Redfern

“Awesome! Have been wanting a Goliath for ages but was gonna make do with my old board this season to svae the cash. Took a demo board after four days riding and felt the tiredness lift, effortless riding, has doubled the fun!”

Leo

“Ridin an Airobic for 3 days. IT DEFINITELY SUCKS !!! The TBT is the higher technology for the flat. For the rails. For kickers. Bataleon one day, Bataleon all days.”

Danny Boy

“Spent the last few days riding The Jam 164. This is a fantastic board. Does exactly what it says on the tin. No matter how hard you ride it you always feel in control. Well done Bataleon.”

“I FINALLY GOT TO RIDE MY BATALEON GOLIATH 157W WIRH A SWEET RED BASE AND I TELL YA ITS PROPPER FAST, THROW ANYTING AT THIS BOARD ITS JUST CHICKEN ORIENTAL. HELL BLOODY YEAH FOR IT. BATALEON TILL I ER RETIRE!”

Brian

“My goliath 09/10 is great! Thanks to the TBT my landings are so smooth. TBT is definitly better than ROCKER!! Some of the rocker boards are sketchy/slippery in sketchy landings, especially at kickers and jumps.

In the style of the TBT and the goliath and all the other bataleon stuff, even softgoods and presentation you simply see that bataleon is made for and by lovers

THANKS TBT!!”

LAAA!!!

“finally i got to ride my evil twin yesterday so smooth and buttery i didn't catch a edge best board i have ever had and its fun to ride yeah for it!!!”

It was love at first site and fXXXX awesome on the first ride!! (this board just keeps smiling at me...)”

Chris F

“TBT = Awesome. Decided it was time for a new board, been riding a 08/09 155 Riot for about a year now and i was in my mind that TBT wasn't all that, so i went off to my local board shop and demoed everything in the store almost, Rocker Boards, Camber Boards, Rocker/Camber Boards, Fruit related boards and then i took the Goliath out and was instantly proved that TBT is the best. The only board i tried to put a smile on my face the whole time. TBT is the only way forward and bought a 157 there and then.”

“Ok, i know, i still don't have your board yet, (I'm workin on it!, PhotoStudent=NoMoney) But last winter, borrowed a board from a buddy, the first lap felt smooth, 2nd lap better, and lets just say first day i was able to throw 14 flips, and at least 30 solid spins with out real bail up at Bachelor. Oh and rails... Fuh, like those things! Forgetabout IT! Bataleon-So close to gettin Mine!”

Gabe

“OMG FINALLY I CAN RAVE THE SHIT OUTTA THIS THING!!
TBT IS AMAZING
i was so stoked to get my hands on the last '09 Evil Twin on sale in the summer, used it today. I DID NOT catch an edge. EVER. first time i went down the hill, i didnt even realize how much flex that mofo had until i bailed on my back from pressing too far over!
I ended up going way more balls out than i usually do! PLUS I LANDED ERRYTHING!!! SHIIIIIIIIIIIIT
TBT HELL-TO-THE-YEAH FOR IT!!”

Travis Robinson

“I broke my board at the end of last season. There was a rail jam i wanted to participate in and I was without a board so I used a demo board (fun kink) from a local boardshop( [BS] The Board Shop Lake geneva WI) and I absolutely loved it!! I felt more confidence with all my tricks on the fun kink after just one ride than I did after many seasons on my previous board! thanks Bataleon for the TBT!! and I just bought my own fun kink for this season and can't wait to ride it!”

Guy from Latvia

“For the last 2 seasons I have ridden 2 evil twins. The white and green one. Stoooked! I go so smooth down the boxes.. no catching at all! Speed at all times, great pop and durability. I'm riding round 90 days in the year (thanks for global warming) and every time I'm thankful for TBT. Next evil twin 155 - I'm coming!

Great job Bataleon”

Alfy

“I am an engineer as well as being a snowboarder for the last 13 years, after readig bataleon's ravings & claims it made sense,so much sense infact i went out and bought an enemy.
Tried it out last weeked and WOW!! Dose every thing it says on the tin and more! Confidence inspiring like i have never found on any other board. The future is defo here! Thanks Bat :-)”

Deon

Jackson Diamond

“Two days on the TBT. Never had more fun crusing. TBT shines in chopped powder. So far lovin it!”

Alvin (TbT convert) Kingsbury

“I was advised by the dudes in Mr Chorlton's board shop in Andorra last season to get onboard(pardon the pun) of the bataleon crew's stylings. I'm like a proud father of my Fun.Kink, smug as a pop star.
Never a truer word spoken about the funnist board around.
Now the winter is already looking good in the pyrenees, got me seasonaires pas for Piau(France) and ready to PLAY like an Aussie seening the snow for the first time. Pure fun! Viva la TbT revolution. iYa Basta!

Espen M

“I have been riding my Evil Twin for two seasons now, so i though it was time to get a new board.. A new Evil Twin of course!

TBT really has improved my riding skill, and i dont believe that I will ever actively use another brand!

Thanks Bataleon!”

JacksonDiamond

“Just got my new evil twin. Cant wait to test it out this weekend. I will be back next week with some real feedback. Thanks!”

“Duuuuude ! Chris in the team, great bullshit ! Yeah for it !!!”

“I freeride hard and always felt limited, which I chalked up to my own inability to break beyond. I stumbled upon a Bataleon board a few years back and have been boosted in my abilities AND love for the sport that I never dreamed possible. This TBT is for real and it is what it is about; it is that different!!! Thanks Bataleon for the FUN that I could have missed !!!!!”

oiN8io

“Just ordered an Evil Twin yesterday, it should be here tomorrow! If I getta chance this weekend I'll be on it for sure! Way to go Bataleon thanks for the awesome boards!!”

M. Irwin

“TBT is awesome.

Was shopping for a board with some crazy new reverse camber tech when I stumbled across a crew of Bataleon reps at my local ski resort.

One thing led to another and I walked away with a 153 Violenza. It was like an instant ability booster. Not only did I end the season with extreme confidence on steeps, I even took my board into the park to stomp boxes -- for the very first time!

Once you go TBT, you can never go back.”

Wurstl

“Rode a lot of different boards last season but nothing even came close to the bataleonz I tried. So I picked up a riot for this season and gonna take it up to the kitz next weekend yea yeea!”

“Fun.kink USA Edition is duh shizz LAVVV IT. I want some clothes to go along with it too but that's taking a lil too long to come in. Bataleon soft goods were supposed to be in 3 months ago. Even though I'm sad imma still buy those clothes =)
I Love Bataleon”

CLyd

“▼▼▼▼ Hilter would say that.
TBT doesnt make you slide all over the place, if anything the burton "cruise control" crap will. TBT is flat where you want it.”

A.hitler

“Bataleon is shit. TBT is a joke... it makes it almost impossible to grab any edge so you slide around with no controll at all. buy a burton”

Sascha Henderson

“I hope you all are right about how great this TBT is supposed to be. I'm sold after reading all the feedback and watching some vids. So i spent more money than i should have to get the Evil Twin Artist Edition. Should be arriving any day now. I'm so stoked about it!”

Griffin Brain

“Anyone not riding TBT this season is holding back the sport of snowboarding.”

Chris Moye

“Just picked up a 59 Riot for myself and a 51 Distortia for my girl. Last season I rode a 57 Jam and loved it. Totally stoked for the season.

@ Joker$ If you had ridden one you would realize its not hype...Better than banana, better than Scoop, better than rocker-camber. I have ridden them all and TbT is better than all of them.

Don't believe me, don't take my word for it, just give it a fair shake come snow season. Cheers”

I have ridden a lot of brands in my life but nothing like a Bataleon. It's a whole "new" idea of snowboarding and it rocks like hell!!!!!

It just keeps you smiling, because it's snowboarding!

Dennis McGowen

“I have been snowboarding for a long time and always wondered why snowboards were shaped like skis. I do engineering for a living and have long thought that snowboards needed a serious rethinking to progress forward and POW! Here comes Bataleon with the TBT and I almost cried with joy when I saw the design......they have fixed all of the flaws with the current day snowboard design. I bought a Goliath for me, a Goliath for my youngest son, and a Funkink for my oldest son and I can honestly say that we will never ride any other kind of board! Bataleon for life!”

My new Fun.Kink 157 is a wee big for me but still it is uncomparable to anything else i have ridin. TBT is BIG. You folks are genius!”

Justin Hawk

“I snowboard every single day during the winter and have ridin a lot of boards. Now every board has there different techs. but by far the best I have riden is Bataleon (That gay Burton Hero that stole TBT and Bananna Tech is a poser) I have a 157W Goliath, 155 Airobic, and a 151 Evil Twin and each has taken a beating and never let me down. Just make the easy choice and choose Bataleon. Cause when it comes down to it do you wanna be one man or part of a Bataleon!”

“I rode the Evil Twin 155 the whole winter season in the Alps...it's the first time i own a TwinTip board and it's fucking amazing!!!!
I've started freestyle at the beginning of the season (i've ridden like a month this year) and it's really astounding how i improved fast.
I can do the 4 180s,both normal 3-6, Frontflip (fucking scared of backflip for the moment :p), ride switch and do a lot shitty ground tricks....
I've no idea whether it's because of your board but thankz a lot though.

I can't wait for next season!

Cheers Bataleon

Carlo

“I used to ride realy stiff freeride boards that were good for hi speeds but were terrible for jumping.
I bought an Evil Twin and I can't believe how good this thing is.
It's not the prettiest board, but I managed to do some tricks now that I didn't dare trying on my Nitro Pantera.

Rick H

“I got my Evil Twin 151 and rode it in Snowworld Landgraaf, Netherlands. I have never rode fake before, but now I could do that immediately!! I love you guys!! Yeaah for it!!”

“Yeah so, riding my riot after 150 days or more on hill for 8 hours a day (working as park crew and days off) and never waxed once, never tuned once, just rode. still straight-lining faster than my friends in shitty spring snow, even after jibbing rails, boxes, trees and rocks. i own the jam as well, but she only comes out when the snow does. make sure you make more boards for next year guys, because my girlfriend, friends and myself need more 'B' in our lives next winter, and I don't mean that other 'B' company...”

Athen

“came back after a week of riding of my brand new Violenza - loved it! absolutely awesome! speed and control! it was spring, violenza conquered slush, ice (real packed ice) and powder! go go violenza!”

“Just got back from a stint in France, using my new Evil Twin. Life is good with TBT! Everything is so much more enjoyable - even wiping out makes you laugh! I'm proud to own a Bataleon board, and will sing your praise to anyone who bothers listening! Woooooop!!!”

Russell Behrmann

“I am convinced however I would like to try one. I just invested in a libtech TRS equiped with banana technology and magnatraction. I believe that the 3 base tech is probably better because it is more natural. However trying is believing. I have to be honest. I am almost ready to auction off my current snowboard. Trying a bataleon out will probably push me over the edge. Please let me know how this can happen? Thanks Sincerely, Russell C. Behrmann”

“This is my second season and i have an evil twin and it is truly awesome. bataleon is mint.”

Ryan C

“I had a chance to take the Goliath out to Killington on Saturday 21st and Sunday the 22nd. Saturday the skies were blue and the sun was shining. Temp was mid 40's and the snow was nice and soft and not slushy. Snow was quite amazing. On Sunday we got hit with snow. It was about 30 degrees out and we got 7"-8" of snow. So what I am trying to say is that I basically got to take the board out on every condition there was: soft snow, ice, hard pack, some slush, and POW. Bottom line....This board killed it all. It held an edge on ice extremely well, floated in the POW, and had absolutely no chatter at speed. Not to mention it has awesome flex and pop. Can't wait to take it out again this weekend! YEAH FOR IT!”

Gavin Breeze

“Just bought a Evil Twin, was worried i wouldn't like the TBT tech after 9 years of riding traditional boards, but loved it! All boards should be made this way!”

emils

“nothing new to say just best boards ever. P.S. evil twin really is evil. in first day with it i broke my right arm (both bones).”

gareth

“Just got back from riding my new Goliath for the first time. I'm afraid it's all true! Buy one, believe the hype. YEAH FOR IT!!!”

samule

“i bought goliath 161 and ride it with burton triad bindings. This board is awsome, just what i needed. For slope cruise, powder, park jumps and can handle rails too. big ups!!!”

Rob (Switzerland)

“Hmmm! How can I say this - It's like running as fast as you can in pair of shoes for years, knowing things could be better and then given a new invention called a pair of trainers! I was amazed it's that fundamental. Within the first 100m I was aware I was experiencing a new era in the evolution of Snowboarding. I bought "The Jam" (Wide version) today.”

Thomas

“Just used my new fun kink 157 for a week in Austria and.... never going back. Never ever. Bataleon for life. TBT is awesome. Bataleon basically destroys every Burton board ive had in the past like they are pretty much raining hellfire down upon all other brands. Thanks Bataleon! Send me a shirt! Love Thomas x”

potzblitz

“Just had the luck to get the last 151 Riot of this season and had today my first snowday with it. I'm working in a skate/snowshop in bavaria and have seen and ridden many many (flat) boards over the last 8 years.. so i was very excited about my first bataleon board. The weather was fine, the snow was fine and the board was just...AWESOME! I am still so impressed, i can't desribe! The board surfs through the snow like a hovercraft! It's just such a big difference to all the other stuff out there, i will never ever ride any other board (and that will mean something ;))It improves every detail of my snowboarding, whatever kind of! I can commend the riot to every rider out there searching for a amazing stable speed stick with just freakin' POP! Absolutely YEAH FOR IT! Thanks bataleon!”
