This is my 3rd board and my 3rd season. And I have done so much better. It is so forgiving and holds a egde so well. I love this board will definitely hang onto her for next year

Anna

Really nice, easy and forgiving ride. Perfect for beginner to intermediate or someone advanced who wants to have fun. Carves really nicely and easy to hold an edge.

This board is amazing. I came to this board from an Arbor Push and it made a huge difference in my riding. It's stable while going fast, and super easy to ride around in the park. Highly recommend the board. Regarding Battalion the company... I had to submit this board to Bataleon for warranty replacement, and within a week, I had a new board. No questions asked. Customer service was phenomenal. Bataleon, you have won yourself a lifetime client.

I’m riding a 146 2013 Distortia and I love it!! It is definitely a park board. It is my 2nd year riding park and it find that it rides very well (I’ve been riding mountain for 14 years) The edges don’t catch, it jumps well and it makes me feel confident to try new tricks and keep pushing myself. My previous board is a 2006 Salomon Ivy (rated a freestyle board (2 of 5) with a mid flex range (2.5 of 5)) and compared to that, this board feels soft between the bindings, but the pop in the tail is great once you get the hang of it. That goes for the TBT base too. The heel turns throw you off sometimes when riding mountain since you need to lean a bit more for the edge to catch. It also makes it kind of crappy on ice (I ride on the East coast). When this board meets ice, it stands no chance, so find myself breaking out my old Ivy for mountain riding. Icy days are no kind of fun. If there is a bit of snow left on the hill or the ice is a bit soft, it can perform though, but it’s sketchy. However this board is incredibly fun to ride otherwise. It is very playful and it just puts a smile on my face. I don’t find it a fast board. The softness makes it a bit unresponsive when riding mountain at speed and it chatters a bit. I find if performs much better on the mountain if you are scoping for fun features to jib off of and just fool around in general. Being on the East coast, I can’t say how it performs in powder. It rides switch beautifully. I’m glad for the different icons on the nose and tail because it helps me figure out which direction I usually ride as I get confused sometimes. Yes, the switch rides that well! I ride it with Rome Madison Boss bindings and 86FT ThirtyTwo boots and they pair beautifully with it. I have tried the board with my old Ride Ex bindings (also of the 2006 era and not women’s specific) and I find they are too stiff for the board. The board really loses some of its playfulness with the stiffer bindings. I would completely recommend this board to any girl who wants to ride park with some mountain in between.

I gave a review on Powderroom.net on the Bataleon Distortia here's an excerpt from it: The Distortia is a park board, true twin, positive camber with Bataleon (and now Lobster) signature TBT. I fell in love with it as soon as I stood on it...turn initiation is easy, but solid. By comparison with other boards, this one demands a little more persuasion; it's not a noodle, and to me, that's a strength! Quick hybrid base for hitting indoor and outdoor kickers...(although not as quick as some sintered boards); and extremely solid on landings, you feel supported and confident to try much more. Where a lot of friends orientate towards rocker cambers, Distortia remains ALIVE with its positive camber popping away downhill, and almost springloaded nose and tail, which allows you load ollies to the max and injects life into your riding, however, it is ingeniously coupled with TBT; which forgives you for making a faux pas on a box or (some) mogles! Summing up Strengths: Poppy and lively camber; good amount of tortional flex for initiating different turns; right amount of flex for loading ollies; solid park board for hitting kickers stable on landings; quick hybrid base; forgiving TBT; NOT A NOODLE! The Distortia is a beautiful, epic park board that has improved my riding. It's not a limp wristed noodle that has a nervous breakdown everytime you hit a landing; it has your back. Due to its solid construction and forgiving TBT, it will egg you on to try more; which you will.

I've just started jibbing and had a demo on the Distortia. I nailed my first ever backside boardslide first shot. TBT makes it so easy to play around without catching edges all over the place. Buying mine later today. Yeah 4 it baby. x.

Just got back from a week in Avoriaz, although a severe lack of snow, my Distortia made up for it!! Unlike any board ive ever riddin, made me fall in love with boarding all over again!!! Loved not catching any egdes and laughed when everyone else fell over!!!! AWSOME board!!!!!

Dear Bataleon, I took out my new Distoria for a rip for the first time this season in Fernie BC, and it was amazing! I've tried different boards, different lengths and flexes, and I have never felt so comfortable shredding on a brand new board...ever. The TBT made everything feel so effortless and fun! I can't wait to try my fun.kink next! Thanks for the good times!

Lana

I love my distortia, all my friends want to steal it, 'cause its soooo pretty. And on the techie side i've ridden park, jibbed about and most amusingly for a 147 managed to ride 2 foot deep pow, the triple base definitely helps the float, even for a fun board!!!

Just picked up a 59 Riot for myself and a 51 Distortia for my girl. Last season I rode a 57 Jam and loved it. Totally stoked for the season. @ Joker$ If you had ridden one you would realize its not hype...Better than banana, better than Scoop, better than rocker-camber. I have ridden them all and TbT is better than all of them. Don't believe me, don't take my word for it, just give it a fair shake come snow season. Cheers

I just want to share with you that I've been riding for 11 years so far and since I tried my first Bataleon board 5 years ago I got addicted. But what I really want you to know that I'm totally in love with my Distortia board. The best thing someone ever made for snowboarding girls. thanks guys
